House vacation rentals in Loch Avich

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). We had a wonderful stay at Monkwood House. It suited our everyone from the 86 year old to the one year old in our family. The house is stunning and has everything you need. The pool was great fun. The house is set in gorgeous grounds next to a lovely river. We star gazed at night. The multiple sitting rooms also meant the teenagers could branch out from the adults. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was very warm, clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed. The location is great right in the middle of the village next to places to eat and drink and a handy shop next door. The bakery across the road is excellent! Drymen is an amazing location for exploring the outdoors, we had access to brilliant trail runs from the doorstep including the West Highland Way. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Everything as described, peaceful location. Definitely a place worth going to. Everything you need definitely a home away from home.

James and Jennifer were very quick to respond and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and comfortable stay. Super comfy beds which is always welcome! Lots of walks nearby as well as local amenities. the East Wing was very quirky with a log fire which heated the cottage up in no time! Would definitely go back should we be in that part of the world again 😊

We had a fabulous time in Beth's little house and a wonderful weekend in Glasgow. The house was spotless, warm and very well located for walking to all the Celtic Connection concerts that we wanted to go to. Beth and Lis were really helpful and flexible as we navigated the impact of the storm on travel and check in. The living and kitchen space upstairs is spacious and really well equipped and the bedrooms and bathroom immaculate and very comfortable. Thank you!

Good sized home for a family to stay in. Very clean and we really like having two bathrooms, not that common in Scotland, bathrooms were also updated and modern. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs. We really appreciated the washing machine. Kitchen was excellent and well equipped, Victor even left us a welcome bottle of wine! Beds were a little uncomfortable and could do with replacement mattresses. Good house and value.

Brian was a fantastic host with an absolutely stunning property! The surrounding area is scenic and the property well stocked with everything you could need. We had an issue with extreme weather during our trip, but Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping to sort everything out quickly. We would definitely return!

We loved our stay in Whiting Bay. Grant’s house was lovely! When we arrived we were greeted with a gift basket and the stove burner was ready to go! House had everything we needed and plenty of space for 5 adults and a toddler. The location was fab and we loved looking out the bay window each morning and were lucky to see a couple of pods of dolphins passing! Overall, we had a great stay and Grant was an excellent host!

Great place to stay while in Islay! So cozy and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were clean and had everything needed. Kitchen was large and we enjoyed cooking a meal while staying here. Lots of kitchen necessitates. Host was friendly and instructions were clear. We were nice and warm despite it being cold outside. Loved being close to some of the distilleries and somewhat centrally located on the island for everything else. Great spot!

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

We stayed in an apartment during our Scotland trip and it was really nice, the host send us all the required information so it was easy to find and check in into, apartment has all the necessary equipment and pretty cozy, will stay here in my next Scotland trip as well.

Brian is a very welcoming host. we had a lovely warm comfortable stay for the New Year celebrations. Easy walk to the Battle of Bannockburn site.

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Stayed for 3 night over new years to see Stirling, family and surrounding areas. Felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Kids loved it to. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very lovely and calm space. Waking up to a view each morning was my highlight. We had some spices and free food left for us to use which was very helpful! Getting to the place was a bit hard as we had not driven on country roads so narrow like that before but other than that, I was an amazing time

Just come back from a stay at Caroline's place. Beautiful home, comfortable and everything you need. Garden was great for the dogs too. So many birds coming into the garden, mainly goldfinch and chaffinch but had dunnock, house sparrow, blue tit, great tit, coal tit, siskin and robin. So lovely to sit and watch them. House very comfortable and very much home from home. Bonus with Coop on the doorstep. Good location for all local amenities and tourist attractions with Aviemore just 14 miles away. Caroline was very responsive and very helpful. A wonderful host and we will be back!

This was our third trip staying at Dodside which speaks volumes in itself. Colin is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of woid provided for the woodburner which made the accommodation very cosy. Would recommend but only if you drive as it's rural and a couple of miles from the nearest shops. Lovely and quiet though.
