Vacation rentals in Località Makauda

Our stay was very pleasant, everything was fine. However, it's important to note that each villa contains a total of three apartments, which might matter for those looking for more privacy.

Great apartment close to everything in Castellammare del Golfo

The house was spotless and and had all amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped. The rooms had very comfortable beds and air conditioning. Gabriele showed us the house upon our arrival, she was for a long time explaining everything, and she was always available. The only thing to keep in mind in this house is that the access is down a very narrow street. Small cars have a good time. Wide cars like the one they gave me in the rent-a-car (a dr brand car, which by the way I don't recommend to anyone), they also happen although you have to be careful. We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

We had a lovely two nights at this place with our two kids. Freshly renovated, clean and spacious. We were welcomed with local pastries, thank you so much 😚 the property has private parking, a small convenience store is within walking distance. Hot tub is a real plus We'll be happy to go back! We really liked Alessandra's house. It was great for the 4 us . We were given lots of food for breakfast and the house was very clean. 1 bathroom is outside, but it was no problem. There was a large front and back yard and gated parking for 2 cars. It was very close to Scala dei Turchi and short drive from Valle dei Templi. We would recommend it if you want to explore the area near Agrigento.

What an incredible place to spend time with our friends and family. The views are spectacular and the hosts were amazing. The facilities there were really useful as when we were there (mid October) the weather wasn't ideal, the kids were able to find something to do! The hosting was fantastic, they helped us with local recommendations, booked us tables at restaurants and even helped out when we had a flat tyre! We will certainly keep this place in mind for the next time we want a family and friends get away!

Brilliant stay! A cozy, spacious and well decorated flat. Everything you need is there! Quiet location, close to various beaches. Perfect for families. Mirjam is very kind and always keen to help. Greatly recommended.
