The location and the surrounding are incredibly beautiful! We absolutely recommend to enjoy the home made breakfast, perfect start for the days. Location is perfect for Hiking and outdoor activities. Really appreciated the option to buy some of the self made groceries :)

Great place to stay and very good service

Ema’s place is beautifully located in peaceful nature surroundings. There is a lot of space for the kids to play and they loved the many animals. Our kids could use the bicycles and cars of Ema’s kids and they even put up a little floated pool to cool down. Ema is very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed a local and fresh breakfast every day. Loved it here!

The location is perfect—calm, within walkable distance from the lake and from the bigger towns nearby. The apartment is reasonable for the price, the bed is huge, everything is tidy, we liked the balcony even while it rained outside. Although this apartment comes with no kitchen, Monica gave all the utensils we needed, so we managed without eating out always. Overall, the location, the responsive and helpful host, and the clean, compact space make it a great choice for shorter stays.

we love the owners and the place verry much. they are verry helpfully, sweet and interesting People who have a big heart for nature, culture, spiratuality. we had some good advice and talks and felt really welcome here. thé nature is totally awesome. we saw 3 little bears about 5 km from this place and lots of wildlife. if you love pristine and quiet nature, you should definality go there! highlight of our trip through Slovenia. We hope you come back here. thank you!

If traveling to Slovenia this is a must stay place for all who want to enjoy nature, learn about the way of life, people, culture and history. Hosts are really nice people who value their guests and offer warm genuine hospitality. Villa Brdo with its gardens and castle, Alpine meadows and forests, Bled, Bohinj and historical Kranj with it reach history are all up to 30m away. More importantly this is a traditional Slovenian household that offers food from their garden, furniture and decor that reveal the spirit of people and very knowledgeable hosts who can inform about art culture economy and the way of life. It is a safe place for women solo travellers, lovely family & people who great one with open arms and smiles. I got far more than I expected out of this experience and thanks to my hosts could really visit neighbouring restaurants, attractions and pathways that often get missed by tourists. It was a amazing stay. Mateja and her husband Dušan were so friendly, open minded and helpful to us! Our week was one of the best we ever had before! The welcoming ceremony is unique, the breakfast one of the best we ever enjoyed before! The eggs were outstanding! We got fresh baked bread, cake every day. Fresh products from the region from farmers! Perfect for Families, kids, animals and may more. A place to relax. We will highly recommend this place and hope to come back next year for hiking! This BnB is about as close as you can stay to Skojcan caves, which was very useful. Restaurant on site is good if you didn’t eat before arrival. Room was warm and comfortable. Lots of cats hanging around, and a cute dog too!

We had a wonderful stay at the farm. Breda and her family were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We did not bring a car, which we would highly recommend others to do as it is distant from restaurants, supermarkets and most sights😊 However, we still had a lovely stay with help from Breda and her family. The area is beautiful and very local. Walking and biking was a pleasure around the vineyards and in the forest. Every morning the hosts prepared a lovely homemade breakfast. And finally, their wine is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

We were so pleased we chose House Troha for our 4 night stay in Bled. The location is perfect to explore the Bled area. We were so pleased we were staying out of the crowed Bled area yet only minutes in the car to get into the town. Loved sitting on the balcony listening to the birds and church bells. The apartment was so well cared for, well equipped, super clean and comfortable beds. The house has been lovingly resorted. Can highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful little hotel that is completely worth it to pull yourself away from Bohinj (only 15 min away) The breakfast was great, varied and hearty the bathroom and toilet were very clean too! We will definitely be back there for a future trip to Slovenia!

This place is stunning-from the artwork in the walls, the delicious home made food, and friendly hosts to the AMAZING view, everything here is just lovely. I was comfortable, well fed, well rested and will definitely be back someday. Highly recommend.
