I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Francesca has a lovely spot, very well located, clean and spacious. She was a very welcoming host and left thoughtful gifts - all in all I had a fantastic stay here. I’d highly recommend this option and hope to return one day :)

A fantastic little gem of a hideaway for a couple of nights near Witney. Only good things to say about Terry and Elaine’s property. Very close to LIDL for supplies and Witney for restaurants, with a secure garden for the dog and an excellent walk just around the corner. We were here for a couple of days to take part in a sailing event at Farmoor Reservoir and it proved to be the perfect location for us. Very friendly neighbouring pub even had vegan food for us. A shame the most direct route to the reservoir meant we had to go via the toll bridge at Swinford but we soon got over having to fork out 5p each way…🙂

Very centrally located only a 5- to 10-minute walk from the city center. 1-minute walk from the walking/running path along the river, which is lovely. The flat itself was spotless, with a comfortable bed and furniture and excellent shower. Very quiet. I really enjoyed my stay!

This place is in a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood. We love to stroll in the surrounding area. Lots of green grass and blooming flowers. An ideal place to stay for a person that loves nature.

Flat was lovely, spacious, bright, and clean. Location was perfect--close to everything in Jericho, a quick walk to city center, but quiet and private.

Mark and Lesley were wonderful hosts -- very responsive and helpful without being overbearing. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and light-filled (when the English weather cooperates.) It feels bigger in person than the pictures might suggest and has everything you need, including a combination washer/dryer. I stayed for around a month and found it to be a comfortable and peaceful spot. The walk along the river from the nearby New Hinksey park was a highlight. For me it took about 20 minutes to get to Christ Church (closer to 30 to get to the Weston Library), but I am a slow walker. It is a nice walk and there are convenient buses if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful week-long solo stay at Steve's place for a conference I was attending at Oxford. The basement apartment was perfect for what I needed -- super well-located (very walkable & good bus connections to city center), quiet street, well-equipped, and plenty of space for doing work from when needed. Steve & his wife were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Could’ve asked for a better location - as it’s a city centre spot everything was walkable which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Spotlessly clean, friendly host, comfy bed, with all amenities you would expect. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. The kitchen was fully equipped. Good connectivity to the city center. Great for short or long stays; we stayed for one month. Emma was very attentive and helpful with any of our requests

We had a great stay at Louisa's house. It has everything you need and is a home from home. Great to have a parking place as parking in Oxford is a nightmare. The bus stop for buses into Oxford is so close but it is also a quick walk, 20 to 30 minutes. Great Pub at the end of the road and shops nearby. Louisa and Simon were very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful countryside, a real retreat for us! It was spotless and very cosy with the log burner to gather round and the hot tub was a delight. Georgie was really helpful in having it hot for us on arrival which was fantastic after a long journey travelling! Beautiful walk to the village very nearby through the parkland - so relaxing. We had everything we needed and the cotswolds right on your doorstep to explore.

This was a great spot for visiting the Cotswolds. Very quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the main street with shops, grocery options and restaurants. (There's also an awesome antique mall at the bottom of the road that's worth a trek down the hill.) Beds were very comfy, bathroom was a great size and the kitchen had everything very well stocked. Loved having both a washer and a dryer. Our kids really appreciated the big tvs with Netflix - it was great to be able to flip on the fireplace and curl up with a movie after a long day of walking. Susan had so many thoughtful touches throughout - fresh flowers, water bottles and glasses in the bedrooms, tons of outlets and charging stations. She really thought about what guests need and it shows!

We used Nick's place as a base to explore Blenheim and Oxford, and walked from the house to the train station. It was great being able to park the car, and enjoy the surrounding area by foot. We stayed with our children and dog, and the house was great for all of us - plenty of space and the sun came out, so we could sit outside in the garden! We took Nick's recommendation and booked a local pub for supper, and we also used the local play park to entertain the family! Overall a superb spot, clean and tidy, with a fanastic, communicative host, we would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

James' home is fantastic! The house is very spacious, clean and has everything you need! We especially loved the garden and kitchen/dining room space. It's a short walk down to Chipping Norton centre making it a great place to explore. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking for a stay in the Cotswolds!

I had a truly wonderful stay at The Old Doctor's Retreat — this was everything I hope for in an Airbnb. The space itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly peaceful, with stunning views over the Oxfordshire countryside. Everything from the comfy king bed and luxury bathroom to the little details like the complementary paint colors, the rain shower, and laundry access made it feel like a cozy sanctuary. But what made this stay really special was Claire. She was not only a welcoming and responsive host, but also went above and beyond — warm, thoughtful, and generous with her time and conversation. It felt like staying with a friend who genuinely cared. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes Airbnb stand out — a beautiful space, in a beautiful village, with a truly kind and thoughtful host. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Easy place to find and the location was very good. The walk to the high street was nice and the journey to town did not take too long either. The apartment is spacious and modern and the smart tv was very easy to use and connect to. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hanna & Jason's property. The apartment was perfect for our 3 week stay and Hanna was very accomodating. There are several shops and takeaways within a 2 minute walk and the bus stop to go into the city centre is very close. We will definitely be staying at one of their properties again in future!

It was great to stay at Greg’s place for a second time. AirBnB is as described. Greg is a great, friendly host who is very responsive to any questions or queries we had. We let him know one of the radiators did not work and he immediately brought over an electric heater. Highly recommend his place!

I had a great stay at Hadleigh’s apartment. The location is excellent, with bus stops, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. I enjoyed walking to the city center and discovering some wonderful spots along the way. Hadleigh was a fantastic communicator, quickly responding to any questions. As it was my first time in Oxford, I appreciated the smooth check-in process—Hadleigh allowed me to check in early, making the experience even more welcoming. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, showing the care Hadleigh puts into ensuring his guests’ comfort. It was equipped with everything I needed and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend staying here! Hadleigh is an excellent host you won’t regret choosing.

This was a wonderful quiet setting with a beautiful patio and herb garden overlooking fields and hills. Just perfect. Very private. The host was very helpful and provided all that was needed for a comfortable stay. Spacious facilities and all that you could wish for. Thank you so very much.
