Little Traverse Lake fishing vacation rentals

We just returned from our family Thanksgiving trip at this beautiful house and left with the most amazing memories. The location was beautiful and we could not get enough of the view. The house was beautiful, clean, and even had everything we needed to host a large thanksgiving dinner. We were literally treated like family and were offered an early check in so we could get our thanksgiving dinner going, and even were offered a late check out. I could not say enough great things about our stay here.

Beautiful, updated home, great outdoor setting and views of Big Platte. House was clean, and tidy. Nicely stocked. Host was very responsive and kind. The patio is large and has several seating options. The location is ideal and central to many other towns and beaches. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Nick answered questions quickly. The listing of Bear Lake Bliss (pictures, description) is exactly how it is. The house was spotless and stocked with everything that was needed. Our family had a great Thanksgiving.

Great place for 3 families. We had plenty of room for everyone. The one room with the bunks and queen is located in the garage but did have a nice heater to keep it warm during our stay. I would note The road leading to the house has a large hill that was very hard to get up with all the snow we got stuck a few times but the neighbors were helpful and showed us their is buckets of sand to throw down next to it. We definitely came on a snowy weekend! Kids had a great time sledding and tubing. Would definitely book again!

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

This place was great!! Long Lake is beautiful, clean, and warm. We had a ton of fun swimming and using the kayaks and paddleboards provided. Life jackets available to use as well. It's a super close drive to Traverse City, and not terribly far from sleeping Bear Dunes, making it a really great location. The full sizeds were comfortable enough, but a little tight. The bedrooms were roomy. There is only one air conditioning unit in the main living space, not in the bedrooms. But we were provided with multiple fans which helped. The road is busy, which is ok, but made opening the window at night for cool air isn't really an option with car noise. The kitchen was fantastic. All the needed utensils and cookware and huge bonus of providing Tupperware to store leftovers which was a great added touch. Hosts were also very responsive and flexible with check in, which was very appreciated. Overall, had a fantastic time exploring the area and so nice having a homey and beautiful place to stay!

The house was very clean. It was easy to find and in a great location. We enjoyed our winter get away and would definitely return to the Lake House.

Angela and Jason were just terrific Hosts! They were very responsive and easy going! Our stay felt more like a grounding retreat! The amenities and shared spaces were perfect for small groups. My favorite spot was the wooden swing at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand and my warm throw. That view is just so beautiful!! It was exactly what the kids and i needed after a crazy week of going back to school! My boys loved kayaking. They packed their fishing gear and set off first thing in the am. We loved the pontoon as well! It was nice to take out the whole family on it as the kiddos enjoyed the tube! We docked at the sand bar and the kids got to swim in 2feet of pristine water! After soaking up the sun, we came in to bbq off the deck and later enjoyed s'mores around the bonfire. We were mesmerized by the stars in the sky! There were so many of them! I could get used to Waking up in the morning to a view like that! We will definitely be visiting again!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was beautiful.

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

If your looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Beautiful scenery and wild life.

I have stayed with Lizzie 3 times for ski trips to Crystal Mountain and every experience has been great. ilI look forward to staying again in the future!

This is a fabulous property and great venue to share with family and friends. The accommodations were as stated and beautifully decorated. The sunrise views over the bay were spectacular and spending the day playing in the water was an added bonus. We celebrated my wife’s 60th and had a truly wonderful time. Although a little pricey I believe you get what you pay for. It was worth it! Tristan was a wonderful host and very responsive. 5 star in my book

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

THIS home is perfect! Location and setting was outstanding—even in our wintertime stay! The stock of everything in the home was thorough and thought filled! The beds were so cozy! And all other amenities were fantastic! 1.5 baths—>💯✅! Will stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed Brian’s place. There was plenty of room for all our ski gear and only 3 mins to the mountain. Having access to the Schuss hot tub was a bonus. There are plenty of board games available and the internet worked well. This has been one of our favorite Airbnbs during the ski season.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

You will instantly fall in love with the quiet lakefront beauty and the breath-taking and welcoming home just 60 or so feet from the water. The main floor of the house is close to lake level making the drama of nature around you compelling and inspiring. The waterfront and waves lapping the stone and sand shore are visible from almost all the rooms of the house, and it's a short walk to River Street in Elk Rapids. Traverse Magazine readers voted River Street "in the top 10 of ‘Sweet Small-Town Main Streets in Northern Michigan.'” The pace of life is calming in this lovely town and in this beautiful home. Owner Bernadette and property manager Sam make you feel perfectly at home. Response time to messages is instant, polite, and friendly. There's so much enjoyment to be had for all ages here.

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

My family and I were very happy with the condo. Very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cooking dishes. Lots of room for us and very comfortable. The view on the deck was very nice with views of the #1 fairway. Beautiful golf course. The condo was a close drive to downtown.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house is private and beautiful, surrounded by woods. We loved exploring the area with so many things to see and do. Our favorite thing was the shared private beach just minutes away and the perfect spot to watch the amazing sunsets. The house is so nice and comfortable and the cozy beds were a hit! We can’t wait to come back!
