What a lovely, warm and cozy house! We have enjoyed the tranquility and atmosphere and with the wood stove on the outside looking out over the sheep pasture! Everything works and is neat and clean and complete, we highly recommend this cottage if you would like to enjoy your holiday quietly!

The perfect place for me to spend New Year's Eve with my anxious dog who is terrified of fireworks. Wonderful quiet area. On New Year's Day there were banging from the afternoon, but compared to the Netherlands it was very easy and it is much further away. Cottage is cozy, and equipped with all the comforts. In addition to Wi-Fi, but that is also pleasant. Uta is very kind and responds quickly.

The old half-timbered house is very comfortable, especially because of its many corners, edges and the wooden floor. The amenities in general but especially in the kitchen are really numerous. You feel very comfortable here. Communication with the landlords is very friendly and informative. Thank you for a nice New Year's Eve 2024 at your place. ☺️

cozy accommodation, nice hosts, good location and beautiful garden. Cabin is spartan but has everything we needed. A little cold in winter, but easy to heat by the fireplace. The proximity to Düsseldorf is great. Highway noise outside perceptible, but still ok. We didn't hear anything in the house (but windows were also closed). Unfortunately, it was not quite as quiet as hoped for on New Year's Eve, a lot of fireworks around it - but the cabin can't help it.

Completely satisfied. Everything worked smoothly. Always happy to come back.

The witch's cottage is really quite enchanting and decorated with a lot of imagination. There is everything you need, from coffee to sweets and a bottle of wine to various basic foodstuffs, etc. And despite lush decor, everything is sparkling clean and well maintained. We will be happy to come back!

We really liked the place. The kitchen was really very well appointed. We didn't have to take or buy anything. The location was nice and quiet and in the middle of the countryside with lots of hiking and walking opportunities.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful apartment, it’s very close to a lot of great places to visit and really affordable. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. Overall would definitely recommend staying here!

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! There were three of us here as a family with a dog and we felt very comfortable. The house is spacious and offers everything you need for a relaxing uncomplicated stay with a dog. There is not only an oven, which was not relevant for us. The garden creates privacy and the location is quiet and green, yet you are quickly in town, even on foot. The house is modernly decorated and offers everything for a week's stay. We will be happy to come back!

We just returned from a wonderful stay in this cabin. The place is beautiful, with a lake next door that adds a special touch to the experience. The cabin is cozy and very well insulated from the cold. We loved the presence of several horses, which we were able to approach, which was very nice. Also, the host was extremely friendly, picked us up and took us to the terminal, which was a very thoughtful gesture. They also offer a bakery service, and the breads were delicious. The place is surrounded by a forest, ideal for those who enjoy nature. I would only recommend bringing provisions as there are no shops or restaurants nearby, especially if there is no car. We will definitely be back!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. I stayed with my partner for the weekend in winter, at arrival eva made sure the fireplace was already working so that it was nice warm when we arrived. Everything resembled the pictures just the bathroom is small but the bath is still perfect like the photos. The kitchen was good eqquiped and overall eveything whent great. Surrounded by nature and animals.

Marianne is a great host, not only our dog Monty had treats on the table, we too. We felt very comfortable immediately, everything tippitoppi. The surroundings and the panoramic view are simply wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful time...We will be back.
