Black Bear cabin was perfect for our cozy cabin weekend! Everything was clean and stocked up with supplies. Would go back again!

We had a wonderful girl’s weekend at Shelly’s listing! It was cozy and inviting, and we all felt very relaxed and welcome. The pictures did not do this cabin justice! The cabin was beautiful and decorated for the holidays which is always so special! We had to book this listing last minute after we found out hours before check-in of another listing that the host double-booked us. Shelly was very quick to respond when I reached out last minute and saved the day. I’d love to go back with my family and spend the holidays here!

My girlfriend and I had a great getaway at Courtney’s place. The bridge was very unique and the hot tub and fireplace made the stay very cozy. Nearby town had a parade during Christmas season and many small Christmas shops to explore. Would highly recommend.

We escaped the Lehigh Valley (PA) for a few days to experience some quiet and relaxation and this cabin was the perfect pick! The cabin was incredibly clean, cozy and we felt right at home. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, sitting by the fireplace and relaxing in the hot tub at night with snow flurries! The location is private and quiet as ever even thought it’s off the main road! We ventured through Benezette and saw elk along the main road! Paul was extremely responsive and went above and beyond with his communication. We would definitely stay again in the future! Thank you for providing such a special place!

Perfect getaway to celebrate the new year! The scenery surrounding this home is incredibly charming. It was very clean and is a terrific location with amenities near by. Would absolutely recommend!

My family loved our stay at this sweet, brand new cabin in the woods. My children loved their magical beds in the loft, and will likely never forget them. We all enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by forested beauty. The whole place was thoughtfully prepared. We highly recommend!

My family and I REALLY enjoyed this place, it felt like home. We celebrated my dad's birthday and he was really happy with the house and surroundings since is very quiet and peaceful. Penny was very helpful with any questions that we had and flexible with the checkout time. We will definitely recommend the place!

My friends and I had a great weekend at Sara's beautiful home. We laughed, ate amazing food, and had an overall enjoyable weekend. The home was inviting and roomy with ample space for us all. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. The view from the deck was amazing (a bit cold) and it was an excellent location for respite and ending out the year with friends. Thank you, Sara. We will be back next year God willing!

This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Ginger Bear and it was fantastic! Loved the peaceful location and all of the critters we could see from the windows. I also loved the trails on the property. It was a great place to walk my dogs. My husband and I are already taking about our next trip!

Our stay at Jan’s place was phenomenal! Being that our family resides in the city, this was the PERFECT place for us to get away and have some peace and tranquility away from the chaotic day to day. The scenery was beautiful and amazing to take in—being that you are on top of the mountain, you get the best views. The cabin was extremely cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Most importantly, Jan was very friendly and responsive and answered any questions or concerns efficiently. She also ensured that we had an easy check in and made sure everything was smooth sailing. My family and I made great memories and will definitely be coming back to stay at her wonderful cabin!

Greg's place was wonderful! Nicely in the middle of nowhere, but without feeling too far off the grid. Cell service in the cabin remarkable given not much of a signal elsewhere in the area. If it had wifi I would come more often to work from here. Loyalsock State Forest/World's End State Park provided lots of great hiking trails. Town of Dushore 15min drive if you need anything.

We had a great time! The house had great energy, very clean, open, accomidating, and great books, puzzles and games, everything you could ever need! And the hosts were very friendly and go the extra mile with consideration to guests. Couldn't have been better, thank you!

Such a cozy little cabin. Our family enjoyed our time. Affordable price and plenty of room for everyone. No issues what so ever. We would definitely rebook in the future.

From start to finish, Wanda was SUPER helpful and responsive. My mothers side of the family is from the area, and for us it was a perfect distance to multiple relatives. I’ve already told many of of our out of town family who visit home to PA to book this place! The place was so clean and open and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Down to the labeled cabinets to find it all too. And from a Type A girl that was so amazing. My niece and nephew were in heaven with all of the toys available. They didn’t want to leave the house!! Overall the house was 9.5/10!!! The ONLY slight inconvenience is that there is no bathroom on the main floor which for a beginning to potty train toddler or an elderly / disabled family member could become difficult. We’re fortunate enough that we could make due. And we would do again as well. Because we LOVED this place! And we definitely see us coming back.

We were dreaming of lake house like Kate's. Water is slow and calm with mountain background. House is like summer vacation home with tons of adorable decorations. We really enjoyed white Christmas scenery covered with snow. Fireplace is little bit hot but makes us cozy. Attic room is beautiful place to enjoy lake through big window. This was my wife's dream house. We are so thankful that we could stay. Thanks to Kate.

Very relaxing weekend spent at the cabin very clean with some great views!

What an incredible experience with genuine kind hearted hosts!! We felt right at home and felt like immediate friends. The cabin and land is much more beautiful then the pictures show. Its so peaceful and serene. The 2 restaurants closest to the cabin have top notch food and service. The church a few miles away is open 24 hours. I highly recommend you reserve this place to reboot, and feed your soul!

Have stayed at Julia's place twice. Repeat customer says a lot! Place was perfect for our group of 4 to explore the Pine Creek area and ride the rail trail right outside the door. Julia is extremely responsive too which is always appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay here. There was fresh snow on the ground so it was a breathtaking view from the hot tub! Very peaceful place to get away! Good setup for family with kids!

Our trip was amazing! We came for the LLWS and we were only about 35 mins away. There was a beautiful creek just across the road that we walked to everyday! We thought we would use the pool more but loved the creek even more. Sadly the area was ransacked by flooding only days before our visit but Brian was quick to respond and let us know what was going on. Thankfully the property was spared and we were able to enjoy it. The fire pit area and front yard were a hit with the kids! Such an amazing property.
