Vacation rentals in Leyhill

We were accommodated at very short notice and the house was beautiful lovely surroundings with a gorgeous lake view. The hottub was a lovely night time luxury. There are a number of short or long lake walks and we were a short drive from cirencester to pop there for dinner with huge amount of restaurant choices. The bedrooms slept 6 if us and bed were very comfy. we cooked an evening meal and breakfast and the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils needed. All our communication was fast with clear accurate check in and out details. Thank you again for the short notice we would highly recommend.

I cannot say how delighted I really was with this booking. The place was lovely, it has more than you can ever need, everything was there and thought of. The surrounding area is lovely, the location is peaceful and a good place to use to travel. We had a great time and had a very responsive host in Tricia. She was so kind and left a few extra bonus treats for us. These acts of kindness show a true care and extra experience of pleasantness. We loved the house and all the extra things added to make the house complete. Games, toys, hot water bottle, books, many plates and cutlery! Everything you could need was there. The lake is beautiful and the area is great to walk, along with the games room. Seeing the duck and swans in the morning is lovely. The morning view is the biggest treat which you can enjoy in peace.

What a wonderful place to spend time and create memories with family. Location was superb, facilities available to use i.e. swim, restaurants and spa were superb and the accommodation was spotless, well equipped and welcoming. Cannot fault it and will be back. Thank you Jan and Jamie

What an amazing place. Everything was spot on, the lounge area was beautifully decorated and very cozy with views across the lake. The kitchen is really well equipped and lots of extras were available which helped massively. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us... all the beds were very comfortable and well laid out. Bathrooms were great having 3 was a bonus with a toilet downstairs as well. We loved everything about our stay, the location is really good and we can't wait to come back... we give it a ten out of ten !

We enjoyed our lovely stay in the property, everything was very well organised from arrival to departure. Hannah was always very responsive if we needed any advice. The spaces in the property are very well thought out giving enough room for entertaining a group of 7 or more. Very close to Cirencester town centre and everything else within a short drive. Lovely setting and plenty of wildlife on the lakes.

Both Andrew and Thea were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The property was perfectly located for our day out in Longleat and visits to local Frome and Rode. Amenities were substantial, the log fire a dream during the chilly weather and super comfortable throughout. We would highly recommend the property and its fantastic hosts.

We had a lovely stay here, very peaceful and serene. The place was spotless and cosy. Perfect for a quiet weekend with friends, we all really enjoyed it and will definitely come again. Gina was really helpful and gave clear instructions as well as local recommendations for food

Perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of walks. Mike was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area. The lake house was spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Glad we brought all our provisions with us as local shops some distance away. Mike was very helpful with my elderly mother, very patient and nothing too much trouble. The highland cattle were an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quiet few days away then mikes place is the perfect getaway. Thank you for your kindness Mike it was much appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful house in a spectacular and peaceful location. 5 adults and 4 kids spent a wonderful new year here. The house is big but also cosy and warm. The views from the deck over the water are amazing. There’s loads to do nearby also. We did tennis, ice skating and archery. Noel and Karen were super lovely on messages and there’s a great house guide there too. A wonderful stay, would definately recommend! 🌟
