Places to stay in Lesterville

The Roost was absolutely phenomenal! We got there Friday evening, before sunset. We did get a bit lost, but it's because we relied on google maps and Kim told us not to, once we used her instructions it was easy to find and get to! The cabin was so adorable and perfect for a romantic weekend away from the city. It was really peaceful and we only saw a handful of people while we were there. We left once to go on a hike at the Eagle Bluff Train by the Black River. It was a great hike, very nice views and easy to get to. We ended up getting a flat tire the next morning and we texted Kim. She was able to send someone to help us and they very kindly changed our tire so we could get out the next day. This cabin has great amenities, great hosts, and great vibes. 10/10 would stay again!

This clean and welcoming bungalow sit in a quiet little town it is a short drive from so many outdoor activities! The friendly residents of Ironton were generous with advice about off the beaten path excursions and a little known gems. Just stop in the local coffee shop or one of the local delis or restaurants and tell them that you are in town for outdoor fun. Good grocery options within walking distance made cooking in the nice kitchen at the bungalow and option for staying in and saving money some nights. The hosts were very responsive to needs, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The coffee bar was a real highlight!

2nd time staying here in 3 months and my family and pups love it! It’s peaceful, beautifully renovated, and the perfect escape from the city life! Rick and Samantha are always responsive and make us feel right at home!

Everything was exactly as described and as pictured. It was super clean and cozy.

We loved our stay at Wes and Paula’s farm! It was great to disconnect and spend time together. There is no cable, internet, or phone service at the farm but we loved that aspect of getting to really disconnect and spend quality time together. Wes was so knowledgeable and great spending time answering any questions we had. We LOVED getting to know the alpacas and being able to watch them outside the window. There are some great restaurants about 30 min away and the locals were all so friendly with great recommendations over the holiday! I would definitely recommend his place and hope to visit again in the future!

Hello fellow Earthling, If your looking for a trip into nature away from all the hype, then look no further. This section of the river has such a healthy ecosystem, crystals and stones litter the river beds and the stars…. marvelous! Namaste

This little place was lovely both inside and outside looking around at the farm. It was clean and perfect for a friends getaway. Would definitely come back!

We just needed somewhere to sleep for the night and it was perfect for that!
