Chalet vacation rentals in Les Contamines-Montjoie

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The Nordic bath is a plus. The nearby hikes are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

Very nice week stay in Michel's chalet, close to the Domaine du Grand Massif in 10 min, either by shuttle or by car with ample parking available (but paying without being excessive since this year), and a few hundred meters from the beginner Sixt slopes, perfect for introducing children. Regarding the chalet, everything is done by Michel for your comfort and welcome, the chalet is ideal for a family with 2 children who can have their own spaces in separate bedrooms. No wifi, no TV, but DVDs, games and reading for everyone, allow us to have a warm time. Don't hesitate to put your bags there, Go!

Met our expectations if not more! Everything we were looking for was there...calm and authenticity. Flawless accommodation, from the choice of decoration to cleanliness, not to mention the little extras that make the difference and the success of a stay. In short, nothing to say but "When are we going back?!" A big thank you Valerie for this little enchanting and rejuvenating break before tackling a new year!

Great chalet in perfect location just outside of Chamonix - fantastic views and nice restaurants close by. Place was clean / great facilities , nice layout, easy parking - Thoroughly recommended !!!!

An unforgettable family stay! Yannick's cottage is simply exceptional: a peaceful place, perfectly furnished, with a breathtaking view. Everything is thought out to make you feel at home. We had a wonderful time at the chalet. Very beautiful, very well furnished. Very comfortable bedding. Warm welcome by Julien, who was available for any questions 24/7. The cottage is located in Bettex, 5 min drive and 15-20 min walk to the Bettex ski resort, family-friendly (sledding, skiing, restaurant). St Gervais is a 10-minute drive down the valley.

Warren and his home were the perfect place for my friends and me to experience Chamonix. He was incredibly helpful with our planning and had great recommendations for local restaurants. The home is in an ideal location, walking distance to downtown and right in front of a bus stop that takes you to all the mountains. 5 out of 5 can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful stay in Delphine's chalet. Excellent communication and availability to meet all of our expectations. Very comfortable, great view, easy to access and 5" from the Princess's gondola. Ideal for families with children. We highly recommend it.

The Chalet was really beautiful, clean and well equipped. All the furnishings were of the highest quality and it was an easy walk to amenities and the ski bus. The views from the living area were spectacular. We were looked after really well by Eloise and Ruby who were friendly and helpful. The dinners and breakfast, of restaurant quality, were well worth paying extra for. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment offered by Jérôme and Laëtitia. Ideally located, bright, clean and well appointed. There is a good storage space which is very nice. The terrace is lovely. Direct access to the parking space which is really very convenient. Responsiveness and sympathy of the hosts. I would highly recommend it!

The cottage is exceptional, very comfortable. We were greeted by Mrs. Bren who is a charming and friendly person. The only downside (and again) is that we came during the transitional season so few activities open at that time but it didn't spoil our pleasure. Anyway, I highly recommend it!!

Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

This is an amazing place to stay for a large family. Isabelle was great to deal with and replied to messages very quickly. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. The outside area is great for dining etc. The house has everything you need. thanks for having us.
