Very nice cottage. Quiet, nice view. We loved the open area with the fireplace. Three bedrooms including a very small one (plus for children). Nice stay!

i loved my stay at the cottage. It was really intimate, warm, quiet and it's so beautiful outside. The cottage is really well equipped and there was nothing missing. We enjoyed the hot tub under the little shelter. Caroline responds quickly to the request and take the time to check in! I recommend it:)

An exceptional stay! The chalet is beautiful, warm and impeccably maintained. The atmosphere is cozy, ideal for relaxing. The location is perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to activities in the area. The owner is very responsive and professional, responding quickly to any questions we had and making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Everything is well thought out to offer a comfortable and worry-free experience. I highly recommend this cottage and won't hesitate to come back!!

Our stay was for Quad biking with friends. With the trail running in front of the house, it made our hikes easier. I recommend it for Quad lovers.

Thank you for allowing us to spend Christmas in your home. We enjoyed our stay and loved the views. We came all the way from Florida and Adstock didn’t disappoint with beautiful white snow and freezing temperatures. The home was very clean and had everything we needed with stores approximately 18 min away!

That was a lovely experience staying there. She was one the best host I have seen in Airbnb. We were booked for 23rd to 26th but for my work I had to postpone to 24th, She let me rebook the place for 24th to 27th. That was so nice of her. Really good host, beautiful place lovely staying there.

Very coquettish accommodation. Wishlist for Gisèle's veranda and responsiveness. We also loved the lounge area and the large bathroom. We recommend the small charcuterie/caterer Le pied de pig, where we ordered a pizza cooked on charcoal.

Highly recommended! We loved Dany's place - it's roomy (we were 4 adults), bright, very nicely decorated and super clean. We felt at home and very comfortable. The living and dining room area is perfect for relaxing by the fire or spending evenings at the large table. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped with cookware, dinnerware and cutlery, all very nice and good quality. There were also some cooking basics like sugar, tea, spices, oil, etc. The location couldn't be better; quiet and surrounded by nature yet close to restaurants and cafes and shopping (a short drive). It is also very close to Mt. Orford ski lifts, which worked very well for us as we were there for a few days of skiing. Communication with Dany was easy and fast, as was the check-in/check-out process. Thank you Dany!

Outside for water lovers, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc...as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will satisfy you; the accommodation is located in the heart of the village which is quite hectic and noisy during the day (it's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You will not have the view of the lake from the inside, you have to leave the accommodation and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the home, no emergency exit maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Rustic cottage but very well equipped and warm! A beautiful balance between comfort and tranquility far from everything. Carol welcomed us and you could spend a weekend just discovering the treasures that line the walls. Perfect place to pick up and walk in the forest with a pitoo I would recommend it without hesitating.

Everything was perfect! The fireplace was on when we arrived. That was a lovely thought! While the listing doesn't have running water, it was easy to get by with everything the host had put in place. Marilyne was there for our questions during our stay. We highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a memorable time in nature! 🥰

Stroke! Located in front of the mountain, on foot from the ski resort on a quiet street, this chalet charmed us with its log beams, its cathedral ceiling as well as the large fenestration that offers a magnificent view of the mountain. The fireplace adds a gentle atmosphere of relaxation. The garage entrance provides ample space to store all the ski equipment and winter clothes that came with us. An unforgettable stay in nature with my dog! Arriving in the evening, I traveled the 800 meters connecting the parking lot to the refuge by the glow of my head lamp. Thanks to the precise directions from Julie, who welcomed me to my car, I had no difficulty finding my way. The sled available to transport our belongings is a real asset! When you wake up, what a wonderful surprise to discover an enchanting setting at the foot of Mount Mégantic. Everything you need is provided in the refuge for a most pleasant stay, and what about the comfort of the bed and the cozy one! I particularly appreciated the attention paid to the fireplace, already lit when I arrived, creating a warm atmosphere from the first moments. Throughout the stay, Julie and Marc were very responsive and available when needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to recharge in nature!

If you're looking to have an authentic experience and go back “as in the good old days”, this place is great! The two log cottages, connected by a balcony and nestled in the middle of the forest on the edge of Lake Mégantic, offer a simply beautiful view and a site. Without electricity or running water, it is an invitation to disconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Solar lamps and a cell phone charger are still available, adding a practical touch. Although the lack of water requires some planning (like bringing enough for dishes), this is part of the rustic charm. The backhouse, located a little further afield, adds a touch of adventure, although it can be a challenge at night for the younger ones. The slow-burning fireplaces in each cottage create a warm atmosphere, but require maintenance to maintain a pleasant temperature. A great experience for nature lovers.
