Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Les Appalaches

Our stay went extraordinarily well. It was a friend's birthday and we made the most of it. Your cottage is very well-equipped, very clean and everything is clearly indicated. We would also like to say that we really enjoyed the spa, the quality of the water and everything worked very well. I want to say this because it's often not the case elsewhere.

Very nice cottage. Quiet, beautiful view. We loved the open area with the fireplace. Three bedrooms, one of which is very small (more for children). Nice stay!

Beautiful ancestral house very nice for 4 couples. Large, fairly well-equipped kitchen. Bright rooms. Sound system/rotating table with beautiful collection of 33 towers. Three beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds. Smaller bedroom with less comfortable bunk beds. Large bathroom and small powder room on the ground floor. Very popular slow burning fireplace. 10 minutes north entrance Mont Mégantic Park. Quiet village.

I would recommend this very friendly place! We wouldn't do a lot of cooking, but everything is there to help out. The small vegetarian market is very good, it is located a few steps away. Ordered a Cantonese chowmen from a local Chinese and it was excellent.

Our stay at Steve's was just what we needed. A perfect mix between the advantages of the city and the proximity to the outdoors! and what about the beautiful log cabin! a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature! We'll definitely stay there again!

We spent five fabulous days with family at Christian and Kathy's! The accommodation is beautiful, very well-equipped, very clean, spacious, bright and very modern, in short a very nice surprise! Christian and Kathy were adorable and left us flowers and small chocolates upon arrival. Thanks again for our stay, we recommend it 1000%!! 😊

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Such a lovely experience! We were looking for a weekend away to disconnect from the busy city and this was exactly that! Such an eclectic and cozy place. Carol’s amazing, so homey and helpful! Would come back again any day!!

As soon as we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The owners have attention to detail to make the accommodation and site as welcoming as possible. The facilities on the site are perfect and we were able to make the most of them. Shelters with kitchenette, cozy gazebo, natural pool, spa, shower, etc. All arranged in a beautiful natural setting! And the hosts! I fell in love with Harold and Stéphane! They are always available while remaining discreet. They have a nice sensitivity and are attentive to people to achieve a balance of simplicity and efficiency. If you are looking for a quiet place and not too busy (there are usually only 6 guests at a time) this is really the perfect place. If you want to go to a spa but don't like crowds or exorbitant prices... you'll be served. If for you luxury goes through simple things and small touches, you will be delighted. Thanks H and S!

We had a great time at Nancy's place. Everything was perfect. The cottage is beautiful, practically at the bottom of the slopes. Beautiful view of the mountain. Terrace in full sun☀️. Exemplary cleanliness. Well equipped cottage, we lacked nothing. We will definitely be back.

Super nice cottage, it matches the photos. Very good location, the views are beautiful and the sunsets are stunning. The chalet is located at the foot of Mont Mégantic Park. You can also walk on Julie and Marc's land. In winter, bring snowshoes to get from the parking lot to the cottage and walk around the grounds. The hosts were responsive and very nice, they greeted us when we arrived. A hidden gem, we'll go back!

If you're looking to have an authentic experience and go back “as in the good old days”, this place is great! The two log cottages, connected by a balcony and nestled in the middle of the forest on the edge of Lake Mégantic, offer a simply beautiful view and a site. Without electricity or running water, it is an invitation to disconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Solar lamps and a cell phone charger are still available, adding a practical touch. Although the lack of water requires some planning (like bringing enough for dishes), this is part of the rustic charm. The backhouse, located a little further afield, adds a touch of adventure, although it can be a challenge at night for the younger ones. The slow-burning fireplaces in each cottage create a warm atmosphere, but require maintenance to maintain a pleasant temperature. A great experience for nature lovers.

Karine's cabin was such a magical place! It was spotless and had everything we needed. The views from the deck were stunning! Karine was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back!
