Vacation rentals in L'Avenir

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The pictures do not do the place justice, it was spacious, clean, and beautiful. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas with family at the rental and couldn’t believe how comfortable, warm, and inviting it was. The family as a whole had never felt more comfortable in any of the prior rentals we’ve experienced, and the entirety of the visit we couldn’t stop discussing the next time we would be coming back!

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

Amazing location adjacent to tram and main lifts. Easy ski on and ski off. Beautiful apartment, comfy beds, well-equiped kitchen, nice living/dining room, ideally configured for getting ready for the slopes. The entrance hall has a convenient place for skis. Very responsive host and very easy check in and check out. We spent the weekend in the expansive glades. Best snow we've seen in New England. Lots of quaint, very friendly small restaurants in the neighboring little towns. This place will become an annual tradition for us!

Great location and very accommodating. This place was very comfortable for our party of 12 (6 adults/6 kids) and would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to everything and communication with the owners was top notch. We all had a blast! Awesome place!

This cabin is gorgeous. Well stocked kitchen, cozy without feeling cramped, and easy to get to. It was everything we hoped it was. We were a little unclear on how the stove in the picture worked before we got to the cabin, so, just to let future guests know - it's a gas fireplace and seems to be the only source of heat in the cabin. The fireplace keeps the whole place quite warm, especially the loft, which can get downright toasty (in a good way!). Enjoy your stay here. It's well worth it!

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, secluded little get away this is the place to go. I truly miss it already. Everything was perfect and so much to do. The game room is stocked with more games than I even knew existed, and in the main house so many puzzles, books and more games. The kitchen has everything you need to make a home cooked meal. We stopped at Shaws and Walmart in Newport on our way to the cabin, and I suggest anyone else who visits this amazing cabin does the same because I can promise you once you arrive on holland pond you will not want to leave. The whole cabin is so cozy and welcoming with some of the nicest blankets to cuddle up in. Anthony & Toni’s cabin is truly a gem and the pictures don’t do it justice. You’ll have to go see for yourselves.

Beautiful location, with everything clean upon arrival. Easy to get into and Kristen was always available to answer any questions we had before arrival and during. If we come back to Pittsburg we will stay again!
