Wonderful house, just as described. Pedro could not have been a better host.

The property is perfect for those who want a break from the city and trouble. The house is like a little paradise and is in an absolute alone location and full of privacy. It is wonderful to look at the star and the sunrise takes place directly above the sea. For the mosquitoes that haunt the terrain in the evening, the accommodation is equipped with all necessary defenses measures. We loved it and were able to totally relax. We would highly recommend the place to anyone.

My family had a wonderful stay at Magic House. The house was huge, much bigger than we expected from the photos. The kitchen was well-stocked (oils, spices, loads of plates and cutlery, etc.) and we were able to make big meals every evening. We really enjoyed the outdoor area, barbecue, and pool. It was only about 19 degrees when we were there and the children were still able to enjoy the pool a bit due to the heating! Also, despite there not being heat in the house, it was very comfortable despite the somewhat chilly temperatures outside. Sonia was incredibly responsive and always got back to me quickly when we had questions (which was often!). The wifi wasn't working the first few days and Sonia was very helpful trying to get it sorted, calling the company multiple times, buying a new router, etc. The power went out and her husband was over resetting the breaker (not accessible to us) within 5 minutes. She even dropped a few gifts off outside the house for us on Christmas morning!

Check-in was easy and Anna ran us through how everything worked. The location is beautiful, easy access to hiking trails, short walk into the centre where there are restaurants/cafes and a small grocery store. Everything in the house was well thought out to make sure we had a great stay.

Had an amazing couple of days, daughter was upset to leave. The most beautiful view over the valley which we took a lovely walk up and met cats, dogs, chickens and a few spiders. Stunning palm trees and cactuses. Lots of space and excellent kitchen. We will be back.

Very beautiful surroundings, and very peaceful and tranquil. Hot tub was a lovely addition. We spent most of the time outside but the space itself had everything you need for a few nights. Antonio was super helpful and gave clear tips on how to find the place. Roads off the main road to get there are a bit tricky but fine if you go carefully, and to be expected for the location!

A super nice house away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ideal for those people who need to disconnect from day to day. The house was spotless and our stay there was perfect.

The place was fantastic for our needs in the centre off the island easy to go in any direction. i do think that a car is a must to get to the accommodation and also to get around the island, the villa was a good size for the 2 of us inside and out on the patio pool was big enough for a splash around and practise with our snorkels (although very cold) We had complete privacy all the time even when Roque wanted to clean and maintain the pool he messaged first to make sure it was ok to do so. The view over the valley was fantastic, although there is a property next door you cant hear or see them, the out door area is not overlooked and totally private , We will book this again, we would have booked for next Christmas but unfortunately for us they already have a booking overall we were well happy there, Thank you Roque

It is difficult to draw on the normal dimensions against which to review Ilka's (and Dirk's) El Sosiego. Literally the name means calm, or tranquil, which it certainly is, but it is far more than that. The place is quite unique, and reflects as much the personality of its owner and creator than the name suggests. Staying there will create a memorable experience, that is more than the simple occupancy of its walls. The place has evolved as the owner has come across artifacts and architectural features from other properties with which he has been involved. These have been contrived to create a place so unique that it is difficult to believe that could have been imagined at the outset, but which has developed a timeless beauty. The effect is almost Gaudiesque in it's execution. Romance and practicality combine to leave the visitor grateful to have been a resident, albeit for just a limited period. It is a place that should be preserved for ever!

We were here the second time - what says already a lot. We enjoy the landscape and the peaceful silence. And there is always a place to hide from the wind (yes there is wind, but not all days long!). The apt is a few kilometers out of El Cotillo, so without car it will be very difficult. By foot you are at the the coastline/cliffs within 8-10 minutes. Enjoy an easy walk or run along the sea. Johan and Aline, the hosts, are at your disposal if you need them. Otherwise you hardly notice their presence (they live next door). To sum up: We felt welcome, comfortable and absolutely safe.

Riad Al Nissan was simply perfect. What a beautiful home in the north in peaceful Ye, with a backdrop of volcano Coruna. The house was spacious and with immaculately styled interiors with a nod to the Manrique house. Light and airy with beautiful textures, colours and tiling. We already are thinking of returning. The hosts were great to communicate with. Full marks. Thank you for having us.

Very good communication from host throughout. A few goodies waiting for us when we arrived. House spacious & well equipped. Good wind cover around the pool so it’s secluded and warm when the sun was out. It being February, the house was a little cold, but we used the portable radiators to warm rooms.

This cosy house, up against a hillside in the tropical north of Gran Canaria, was exactly as advertised. Is it modern, sleek and so clean you could eat off the floor? No, but that is also not what me and my boyfriend were looking for. We wanted a rural, private place, and we got exactly that. The house is very charming, and the property is gorgeous. Having breakfast on the terrace while overlooking the valley feels surreal, that's how beautiful it was. We picked and ate fresh oranges and avocado's, got fresh eggs from the chicken coop, and when the temperature went down, which is bound to happen occasionally in January, we lit the woodstove and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere, snuggled up underneath a blanket. The bathroom and kitchen were fully functional, although the hot water would sometimes take a long time to heat up, or it would run out extremely fast. This only happened on a couple of occasions and in no way diminished the pleasure of our stay. 100% would book again in future.

We stayed 10 days at Casa del Patio and we had a very, very good time. We arrived from Italy tired and cold and we regenerated here. For us it was a great place, a place to start to go to the sea or the mountains, then return in the evening and enjoy the starry night in the middle of nature. What impressed us most is the love that Maria and Jalil put in offering their home, their hospitality, their smiles. The house is cared for in every detail, with attention to what you may need and with great taste to please the eyes. A wonderful place that made us really feel at home. Thank you

If you are looking for peace, you will not find a better place. Fantastic location with incredible views in stylish house. Large sun terrace and incredible pool - in the middle of the mountains. Great host :-).

A lovely place, isolated from busy roads and towns, and lovely panoramic views from the conservatory. You have to like your own company here, but a lot of nice restaurants and bars locally, and the National Park with all it's mountains is 5 minutes drive away. Only slight downside was limitation of hot water when sun didn't shine, but luckily we were in Lanzarote!

We had a wonderful time at Poniente. The pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of room, fully stocked house with many useful amenities, super comfortable bed with good quality mattress and carefully chosen linens and decor. Location is great if you are into hiking and looking for a relaxing and quiet place. Will definitely come back!

Spacious accommodation for the 8 people we were. Particularly quiet. We really enjoyed the large covered terrace and barbecue. Communication with the owner is very easy as he responds very quickly to our questions.

We loved our stay here! The location and views are amazing, the perfect spot to explore the island!
