Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Las Delicias

Stefano made a brand for himself! Once you are in Montezuma ask for Stefano! He is an exceptional host. He made a gorgeous home like a huge boat with even a garden and jungle! He made it all by himself! Peaceful, artful, was made with love, care, and tender! Exactly what we needed in Costa Rica! Ha, if you can’t stay there, ask him for a tour, the house is like an art piece! Lucky for us, we lived in it! Mucho gracias, carino Stefano♥️

Really enjoyed our stay at Lucia and Nicola, awesome meeting our hosts too who were very kind and helpful. The accomodation is located in a beautiful spot, there are walks starting from the property and it is at walking distance (uphill) from delicious restaurants, beautiful beach and the Montezuma waterfall. Very chill and friendly atmosphere !

It was my second time in Costa Rica, and by far the best. Isabella made it so easy to get everything set up for the stay and then Mauricio met us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of everything. I have never seen a view so spectacular in my life!I am so glad I chose Mal Pais over Santa Teresa.

The houses are beautiful and we arrived at night to find banana bread, coffee, eggs, coconut water, and coffee for breakfast... so thoughtful! The house and grounds are beautiful. We had monkeys in the trees, the pool was great. It is walkable to the stores and beach but coming up with groceries is a workout. The kitchen is well equipped. (we love to cook). The beds and furniture are very comfortable. We have been to Santa Teresa 4 times and previously stayed in a house on the beach at the other end of town. The last time we were there was 2019, it has really grown since then. We missed the chill vibe it is a lot more popular with a a lot more tourists. This house is up on the hill giving you great ocean views and the house is really spectacular. The price is super reasonable for the area and amenities. We were glad to be on the quieter end of the beach. Thank You Richard for sharing your lovely house.

We had a great stay! Galina was very helpful with everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable.

The house is very spacious and has an amazing view. Dave was very kind to allow our family to visit us. Access is very difficult, you need a 4x4 car. There is no air conditioning, which made the first night very difficult, the heat was stifling, but it was our fault for not reading the specifications of the house. We solved it with a portable fan. It was beautiful to see the sunrise from the balcony and listen to the birds. We will be back soon.

Beautiful property, stunning sea view, very calm and relaxing

This house is fantastic. The location was perfect. The yard is private with it's own driveway and carport. Short walk down a private road to beach across the street. About 15 min by car to Montezuma. The house is clean with furnishings that make sense. Outdoor areas had plenty of comfortable furniture to lounge, ceiling fans and shades. Kitchen was complete for any cooking we did. Bathroom upstairs had great two person shower. Bedrooms had comfortable linens, mattress, ceiling fan and the upstairs shade is a TV screen. Air conditioning in the bedrooms at night was a delight. The garden in front of the house is spectacular with lots of birds. The area by the pool is stunning with ceiling fan, comfortable furniture, a grill, and outdoor shower. The pool is sparkling and refreshing. It was by far the best house we have ever rented in Costa Rica. Lynn was a perfect host. She had lots of recommendations and responded promptly to all communication. We loved everything about it.

Gorgeous gardens for indoor/outdoor living. Beautiful outside dining room and shower. Nice kitchen, well equipped, stocked, and designed. This place was paradise for us: walkable to the beach, Cabo Blanco, market, playground, cafes and small restaurants. Cabuya is a quiet village and this lovely place provides a peaceful nest from which to explore at a slower pace.

Very nice property. Lots if open shared space with pool. Cesar responded to us promptly when we contacted him. Overall was a nice experience.

Where do I start...Diego and his family are amazing and their home and property are beautiful and welcoming. From the greeting to the farewell, everything was perfect. The accommodations were clean and well appointed. The pool is phenomenal with an outdoor kitchen that is fully equipped and easy to use. The house is within walking distance to the beach, multiple restaurants, grocery stores and a cute brewery. The natural reserve just down the street is also close with a fantastic hike to a secluded beach that is only accessible by hiking there. In addition, montezuma is a few kilometers away and there are more fun spots to see and eat at there. We cannot say enough great things about Diego and his family and their beautiful property. We will definitely be back!

This place is great if you want a true jungle experience. Host is responsive and it’s easy to gain access. It’s off the main road that passes through Gigante. DO NOT stay here if you are afraid of bugs… the house is open planned so critters easily get in. There was a tarantula in the kitchen sink when we arrived but as I said, a very good jungle experience with amazing views! Sheets and towels were clean, as was the bathroom!

Jose's cabin is perfect for visiting the surroundings of Cóbano and has a lot of charm. The host made everything very easy and allowed us to access 3 hours before check-in so we could enjoy a little more of the nearby beaches. The whole check-in and checkout process couldn't be easier. I would recommend it.

The house is beautiful, and has everything to spend it out of ten. The only negative point if I had to mark something is that it has many security cameras inside the house and you feel a little observed, but taking that back I would recommend and come back without a doubt!! the very comfortable beds!!

Good value for money: nice location in Cabuya close to the park, Montezuma, and many nice beaches. Good coffeeshop around the corner. Nice patio and yard to dine with mango trees. Amenities are somewhat basic, but all necessities are there, so this fit us fine. Upstair bedroom has no bathroom access. Marla was responsive throughout.

Stayed the whole weekend in this paradise of a place. I loved it and definitely will come back again. Lucia and Carlos were both amazing. Pictures won’t do justice. You gotta come check it out by yourself. Pura vida.
