Maria is a kind host. Her home is beautiful and warm, in the middle of winter. The kitchen was very cute and well stocked with appliances and amenities - perfect for our trip. The Finnish sauna in the day and Auroras in the night by the frozen lake were a special treat. Would stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay in Saariselkä! it's only 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and bus stop, and 10 minutes maximum to all Saariselkä restaurants. The hosts were extremely helpful and nice, they gave us great recommendations for walks, and allowed us to borrow their tobanoggan for the ski slope. We unfortunately did not get a chance to visit the restaurant that they own (out of town), but it looks amazing! It's really nice to stay with such warm people who clearly care that guests make the most of their stay. The apartment was in good state, with all basic necessities provided, including a great shower and excellent heating. Would recommend!

Everything was perfect! Very close to the city center, everything is less than a 10 min. walk away. The accommodation is very spacious and very clean. Ksenia is very responsive, we are very happy with our stay!

Heidi’s place is at the best location if you want to be close to Rovaniemi but to be able to see the northern lights at the same time. We stayed there 2 days to explore Rovaniemi before going to the north to see the northern lights but we already saw them in these two days. We felt like at home. Very cosy and peaceful.

Well! It was our first trip to Rovaniemi! And the place was pretty close from downtown, around 10 minutes drive. Everything was as described and is a very nice place and cozy, perfect for two persons, we had the chance to cook in the camping van, had ur breakfast there , and the rest. Also the temperature was really nice inside! Is a really perfect place for someone that never ever stayed before in a camping van and wants that experience.

Elina was a lovely, attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble, the ice fishing trip was enjoyable and the food was good too. The accommodation was perfect for what we wanted, lovely and clean and the cooking facilities were great. The accommodation was perfectly situated for seeing the northern lights. A rural area but within driving distance of tourist activities. There was lots of snow and we have had a fantastic experience.

This is a great place with even more amazing hosts. The house was clean and beautiful and very close to ice-breaker shuttle pickup point. Private sauna inside is cherry on the top. The host Timo is an extremely gracious man. He came to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night and gave us a warm tour of the house. They had also left us a lot of food and a nice souvenir to take home. Loved our stay a lot, and can't recommend this place enough. We still wish we had more time.

Beautiful, new and very clean guest house set in beautiful scenery setting. If you are looking for nature, peace and solitude, this is the case. We were able to see the northern lights through the window several times, and if you walk a few steps behind the house you have free meadows and a perfect observation spot for the northern lights. The space is an ideal base for nature trips, and we've received some great tips from the hosts.

Perfect! Maria and her husband were so helpful, and we could not ask better service! Felt like we were right at home! The nature, the all and all atmosphere was amazing! BEST sauna and shower! Felt like a personal spa! You can make a little fire on the top of the hill, wich has a great view! Store is 2km away if you need anything and the Santas Village is 5km away! If you are looking for the perfect Northern nature experience, this is it! 11/10

Jyrki is a great host and very responsive and proactive. He made us experience the activities that the local people do here and is not covered by any professional groups. We went to experience the wilderness of the lapland through snowmobile. got to catch the fish and grill it ourselves and eat it too!! We witnessed the ice hockey match in the stadium which is the first time we got to experience that because of Jyrki. His apartment has the nice and clean sauna too and got to experience that in Finnish way. He was very proactive and responsive all the times and was ready to pick and drop from the location at any time of the day. He really made us feel at home and truly is a great guy. Experience and property both were 5 on 5!!

This was an exceptional stay! We have stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years and this is one of the most unique. The theater is incredible, such a great way to relax after a day of exploring and being outside. The bed is quite comfy, the sauna spacious, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Not to mention how friendly and responsive Jarvi is! He made sure we came outside and didn’t miss the most spectacular Northern Lights that were happening right over the property! You could view them from the jacuzzi, even. If you are thinking of booking this for your Lapland trip base, let this be your sign to do so!
