Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Laos

Absolutely everything is included. Substantial breakfast and dinner, drinks, wine, transfers to and from town, recommendations for sightseeing and lunch (if you even need lunch!) The house, pond and garden are wonderful and packed with an eclectic collection of memorabilia. Mike and his wife are super interesting, and it was great to hear all about Cambodia (and its needs) from both the expat and local perspectives. Do ask Mike about disability support for land mine victims - his insight is eye-opening for a foreign visitor.

The review of the house was based on communication with the host because we didn't stay because of our own reason, felt responsive and detailed check-in instructions.

We stayed at Sonalee’s cool place for three nights. It’s a HUGE house in a very authentic, local neighborhood. The house is stylish and free of clutter, comfortable king sized bed downstairs. She gave us thoughtful local goodies and some breakfast eggs, etc., and great coffee! There is ample clean drinking water provided , which we appreciated, plastic waste is a big problem here. The only negative about the house, was that two of the three nights it filled with intense smoke from the neighbor’s cooking fires, they are very close. They start at around 4:30 and go until evening. I recommend being out of the house during those times. There are many wonderful restaurants along the Mekong river, as well as the historic part of town. Go to Sood Soi, the greatest little bar down an amazing food stall alley, Tat, the bartender is the best. And next door has best pork dish we had in Laos! Enjoy this beautiful little, somewhat Smokey city. It’s a fun place.

Our stay at Chaliya’s Airbnb was great. The house looked the same as in the photos, we especially enjoyed having a kitchen and spending time at the rooftop at night time. Chaliya was also extremely helpful with everything we needed. She made our stay easy and comfortable.

Tom is a great host; very responsive and super helpful. The apartment is very comfortable, with block out blinds and has a great view at dusk. The washing machine was a bonus.

Really lovely, peaceful flat, with everything you need and wonderful view of river! Sue is an excellent host and her house managers are kind, professional and very helpful...I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Fern & Anthony's place. They were very easy to communicate with before we arrived, as well as, during our stay. You could not ask for a better location, on the river and right by all the action but just far enough away by a street or two to be peaceful and quiet when it was time for bed. The apartment was very clean, the king size bed was great and the snacks and drinks they provided were perfect for our late night arrival, (water, fresh bananas, coffee, and tea.) We wish we could have stayed longer! We also got to meet Fern and Anthony as we were headed to the airport and they were lovely. We know where we'll stay next time we are in town!

This place is right in the center of the city, very convenient for getting around. The room is very clean and beautiful! we spent a really good time in here! Alex is an excellent host, always asking if we need any help and responding promptly. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay, this will be the best choice!
