Perfect Place to Explore the Irish Midlands!

DeborahRating, 5 stars17 months ago
We had a great 5 day stay at Caroline and Laura’s place. Very peaceful with a lovely view out the glass doors from the kitchen/lounge room area. There were some treats left for as well. Everything was as listed and we wanted for nothing. Caroline met us when we arrived to showed us around and popped down to see us the next evening to make sure we had everything. She also gave us some good ideas as to what to see and do. It was a great place to base ourselves to do some exploring.
A serene waterfall cascades over rocky outcrops, surrounded by lush greenery. The water flows gently into a calm pool below, reflecting the vibrant foliage and the surrounding trees, creating a peaceful natural setting.

Ballyhist Cottage, superb 2 bedroom Farm Cottage

CarrieRating, 5 stars18 months ago
I can only say great things about our stay. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfy beds and right in the heart of the wonderful irish countryside. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that arose but linda was easily accessible, extremely understanding, and super quick at rectifying (even when requiring a plumber she got it sorted within hours). So we highly recommend staying in lindas cottage and we thank linda for making our stay so enjoyable
An old stone structure is observed, featuring tall, narrow windows and a gable roof. The weathered walls are complemented by a green grassy area surrounding the building, with a low stone wall marking the boundary. A tree stands nearby against a backdrop of partly cloudy blue skies.

Very nice place, no complaints except the cleaner showed up at 10am or so the day we were supposed to checkout but checkout was at noon so it was a little strange having to interact with her. Other than that it was awesome

Dun Bride

Mary is the kind of host that goes above and beyond for her guests. My parents loved their stay at her home and we so impressed with the thoughtful details Mary undertook to help make their visit to Ireland memorable. Mary very kindly alerted our distant relatives at my inquiry about how to my parents might connect with them and this was an extraordinary level of thoughtfulness. Further, the place was great, everything was incredibly clean, and it was a perfect taste of Irish country living. Highly recommend!
