An ideal place if you are looking for peace and relaxation and want to explore the great nature around Lauwersmeer. It was really super nice!

Fantastic stay in the beautiful back house. Lots of privacy and wonderful unobstructed views of the meadows with breathtaking sunset. Also animals spotted (herons, roe deers and a hare). Relax with all the space and luxury at hand. Extremely welcoming couple. Thank you Auke and Janet.

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

We had it super, enjoyed the tranquility and beautiful surroundings. A warm welcome, and if we had any questions in between, we could ask them. Wonderfully walked from the cottage to the sea dyke, among other things. Nice villages in the area explored, Leeuwarden is nearby and plenty of restaurants/outings to do by car. Had a great time, would definitely like to come back!

Had a great stay in the small apartment. Very fully furnished. A wonderful location to completely relax and unwind. You should not be very afraid of spiders and mosquitoes :-)

Had a great stay over New Year's Eve in the loft. The cottage is very nice, ideal for two people and furnished with a lot of love for detail. As a welcome, there was a bottle of sparkling wine and a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. Everything went smoothly, and we enjoyed the time very much. We will be happy to come back!

Even thought we booked the appartement last-minute we were able to have a lovely day in Lemmer. Communication with the host was excellent, and the appartement was exactly as we saw in the advertisement. Would definitely come back!

Check in/out at Tonnis’ place was so smooth and the place was gorgeous too. Really close to the city center and if you’ve any questions Tonnis is available to answer right away.

We had a lovely stay. Nice place by the water. The house was clean with lovely duvets. The 2 things we had questions about were quickly answered and resolved by the host. Definitely a place to get back.

Had a wonderful weekend in Michelle's house. Good location on the outskirts of downtown. Well decorated, nice beds. Everything was available. When the weather is nice, the outdoor space seems a little less - small built-in backyard and front garden with seating on the road. Good communication with Michelle. A little on the price for a simple house.

Great location and top service! We at Royal Deck had a fantastic stay at this beautiful location. The area is wonderfully quiet and private, while everything is easily accessible. What you see on the pictures is exactly what you get: a neat, clean and well-maintained place. Patricia is very nice in communication and actively thinks along to make the stay as pleasant as possible, for example with cleaning and other amenities. This makes it extra pleasant, especially for longer stays. We definitely recommend this location and will be happy to come back here!

A fantastically beautiful monumental building with beautiful spacious rooms and bedrooms, very tastefully decorated and located in a beautiful location just outside the historic center of Leeuwarden. Cecelia is a very friendly hostess who takes care of everything down to the last detail and is quickly accessible and responds to questions. Thank you for this Cecilia! The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

The apartment is very nice and as in the pictures. Nick is friendly and the lockbox check-in was very easy. The location is great if you want to explore the city. It's a lot less hot in the bedroom and kitchen than in the living room. Unfortunately, the streaming services that are listed are not logged in, so you must have an account yourself. Furthermore, everything was great, definitely recommended!

We had a very nice and cozy time and enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. Ellen is really a sweet and attentive host, very nice! The location on the water is also worth 100 points. We will probably come back!

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!
