Great place to stay and a gorgeous house. The small pool was perfect as well. Worked remotely while there and it was great for it. Not too much to do around without a decent drive, but if you are looking to relax and enjoy quiet time like we were, it is perfect.

What a fantastic place! I can't imagine there are places in the same price category that can offer as much as Orestay Homestay does. Nice and clean big rooms, comfy beds and pillows, fast internet, new TV's, helpful and really friendly hosts, great breakfast, relaxing atmosphere in the garden. I've been traveling for a month and this was definitely the place where I got most value for my money. A perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you're visiting Ha Long.

What a 10/10 stay from the time of booking to the end! The place is exactly as described and was just the perfect place for our group of 9. Very organized, clean and had whatever we needed. Location is also superb and right next to the water. Most importantly, Tô goes out of her way to help you and is somehow always available whenever you need anything in the city. Helped us find great deals with our airport transfer, local activities and local cabs. Made us feel very much at home throughout. Will highly recommend.

Very beautiful room and scenery, the interior is spacious and bright, the decor is cozy and beautiful, the balcony is a great place to see the view, both sea and city view, the view is wide, it is a perfect living experience, recommended for everyone to choose🥰🥰🥰

It’s a lovely little house in the town of Cat Ba, right next to neighbours at the top of a hill with all of the local ambiance noises from roosters to dogs. If you’re looking for a local house this is a nice stay without any frills and basic furnishings. It suited us perfectly fine - you just need to expect the very steep hill to access the house and the local vibe of the place. It is not in a rural setting as we wrongly assumed. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

on the last day of our stay, we ran out of fuel and were stranded in the middle of nowhere, just 30mins before our bus to Hanoi. The host saved us, picked is up and we made it just in time. She's the absolute best!

This place is a rare opportunity to experience the pristine wilderness (with comfort). From the moment the bus dropped us off at Aroma House, Thy took care of our every need. We opted for the slow boat to Ancient House and the views!! Limestone karsts protruding from turquoise water and the sweetest boat driver. We docked and were met with an electric vehicle to take us through Viet Hai to where the house manager for Ancient House met us. This is BY FAR the most amazing Airbnb experience!! The food is exquisite, the room is rustic and yet so comfortable (the linens, the unique bath, the soap). Mai, the house manager is a wonderful cook. Google translate made things easy to get what we need. There are dogs, a puppy, a kitten… the park trail is breathtaking! The jungle hugs you with beautiful sounds and scenery. Absolutely peaceful and a chance to be embraced by this untouched landscape. Unplug, connect, and pinch yourself—it’s a dream! We hope to return!

Very nice apartment with fantastic views, Thanh Thuy was always easy to reach and was good support, although she has only recently been on Airbnb.

Very good stay with a great view and luxurious place

If you like nature, you’ll enjoy staying here, it’s off the beaten track and surrounded by jungle near the National Park. If you need help getting there and back: the friendly staff can help with arranging airport or ferry pick up/ drop offs. For a quiet getaway there was so much more on offer than I was expecting - a fully stocked, quiet bar; small restaurant for breakfast and more; many chill out areas including a pool table and swimming pool. We hired mopeds from the eco lodge and also booked a wonderful boat trip (the islands we visited were beautiful - we were the only boat there, plus the captain cooked us the best food ever). My thanks go out to Kien and his great team of staff for making this trip one to remember.
