Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

Also, although we were not able to meet Dominique,we spoke by phone and message ,she was always very responsive,gave good advice and available when needed! In addition, the accommodation is set back from an axis,quiet and quiet guaranteed ,not to mention the pool +++

We were very well received, the house and pool are very clean, we recommend this place. Good location and nearby businesses. A few directions are to be reviewed on the listing, such as the house number, the check-in and check-out times are incorrect and we were asked to come with our sheets when we had already left. That said, the owner is available, accommodating and very pleasant.

Anne is a very responsive person. The accommodation is perfectly located for a visit to Biron Castle as well as the surrounding castles. The house offers all the necessities. And the walled garden is really a plus.

We stayed at this property as a group of 13, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The house was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The layout made it easy to gather together as a group, whether we were enjoying meals in the large kitchen, hanging out in the cozy living area, or spending time outside on the beautiful property. The amenities were fantastic – from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfortable bedrooms, everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a great patio and stunning views, making it perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The host was also very responsive and helpful, making check-in and our entire stay smooth and easy. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our week, and we would definitely recommend this property to other large groups looking for a peaceful, enjoyable getaway!

We had a delightful stay at May’s cottage in Lubersac. It was a family holiday with our two grown up children and their partners. The gite was lovely and May had made sure everything we needed was already there on arrival. There was also a very useful information booklet for us to refer to during our stay. The gite is spacious and the pool area is superb (as is the upstairs balcony). There’s a decent sized supermarket 5 minutes away which caters for everything you could need. The gite and location is idyllic if you want a chill out, private holiday in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. It is also a perfect base if you want to explore the surrounding areas. No faults whatsoever. We loved it!!

Our stay at Debra's villa was everything we hoped for. The house was beautiful, clean and very well equipped. The pool was great to help keep cool in the super hot weather. The house was peaceful set in the middle of vineyards, which was exactly what we wanted. Not far to drive to local villages, amenities and to go sightseeing. We were greeted by two lovely dogs who were always so happy to see us and joined us on the patio at breakfast and evenings. Our hosts were helpful and extremely friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this home away from home and a great location to explore this area of France.

Lovely clean, traditional french town house, close to the centre of Begerac. Claire provided lots of local information and was always available to answer any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the future. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant contact and welcome with Elisabeth and her husband. The house is as described, well equipped, pleasant and in a rather peaceful area, a beautiful terrace to enjoy the outdoors and a beautiful pool. I want to clarify that the pool is not heated and can be rather cold, since this was our case during our stay in early September 2024, the weather did not help to heat it. This is not necessarily a problem in itself during the summer but outside of hot periods, you have to be aware of it.

Great hospitality from Elizabeth, a thoughtful and available host. The house is spacious with beautiful volumes and really very well located in the center of the village while remaining quiet. There is a lovely garden, perfect if you travel with your doggie. The house has lots of charm. We had a short but pleasant stay.
