Ashish is a host and human unlike any other! I came to Nepal with a personal and complicated mission beyond trekking or sight seeing. He helped me get connected with government offices, was accommodating with his time and knowledge, and generally took care of our group for 10 days. He is very communicative, trustworthy, thoughtful, and filled with a plethora of knowledge to guide you around. The property is beautiful. Every day at any time had amazing views and pure peace. Our favorite part was the glass house that we actually slept in most nights. Though I enjoyed the bedroom and how cozy it was. The local restaurants are very tasty and the location is a huge breath of fresh air (literally) and a nice break from the pollution in Kathmandu. You’re definitely in a more remote area with very bumpy roads so we utilized the local driver or caught a ride with Ashish when he was available. We loved staying here and would come again in a heartbeat and are forever grateful to Ashish.

Fabulous spot to stay with stunning views of the city and mountains. Mukesh , our host was really freindly and kind enough to give us briefing about nearby local restaurants and culture. The location itself is perfect , lots of nearby pubs, market and shopping spots. Our apartment was clean and had all the stuffs needed to make it feel like home.

Great place to stay in Patan, here for a long stay and felt right at home. Apartment has a comfortable bed, hot water, kitchen with utensils and washing machine. Area is quiet at night and host is responsive and checks everything is going well regularly. Sometimes you have noise from the hallway and some noisy neighbours but pretty normal for this type of building. Would definitely recommend!!!!!

We stayed at nookhaus for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. In some ways i feel lucky that i found this little piece of paradise. We arrived late but location was easy to find. The property has been renovated with modern tasteful decor and its spotlessly clean and well equipped with essentials- utensils in kitchen,coffee machine. The views are stunning from the balcony. The occasional sound of bells from temples it felt so peaceful. I cannot praise the hosts enough for creating this beautiful place that combines both traditional and modern touch. Would definitely recommend and would love to return to stay here next time i am in the area.

Spacious Studio in a walkable area; breakfast incl

I only had a night stay at the hostel but i loved it. I wished i stayed longer, perhaps in the future if i were to visit Kathmandu again. Tisa who attended to us at check in was super accommodating - my friend and i reached KTH early from Pokhara after our 10 days ABC hike, and was thankfully allowed to check in early. Tisa was also very proactive in introducing the neighbourhood and gave us some food recommendations. The room was spacious as described, clean and just enough plugs. OH! just that there are no lifts, but we already knew that ahead of time. I love the place, community and people!

Everything was well arranged and I really felt at home there. The entire house was at my disposal, as well as all other public areas. Breakfast and dinner were well cared for and delicious. It's a great place to relax after a day in Bhaktapur or just relax for a day.

The unit is great, everything was like in description, beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, lovely views from rooftop, fully furnished kitchen(at least there were everything i needed), a lot of space for living in comfort, wonderful, responsible housekeeper and host. It is also in walkable distance from Patan Darbar Square and mangal bazar where I liked spending time with a cup of masala tea 😁 l was satisfied with everything so that stayed there almost two months. Thank you guys for your professionalism and hospitality! Hope see you again.

I had a great stay here. The apartment is designed with taste and offers everything you need for a short or even longer stay. The building is in the heart of Patan, with do many temples, stores, cafés and restaurants just out the door. The building even has a roofdeck and washing machine. And Lumi is a very responsive and helpful host with many recommendations to offer. Highly recommended.

I love this place! Riwaz was so helpful, he was here to meet me even though I arrived quite late in the evening. He's been a great host the entire time, so easy to communicate with. The space looks exactly like the pictures, the location is beautiful, super close to many temples and great restaurants, everything in walking distance. I loved staying here ✨

Inspiring and peaceful room in our art space!

Just stayed for 2 nights, but I really enjoined the staying. Helena is a very lovely host, took her time to get to know me. I couldnt meet all the people living in the house, but all the ones I have met were very welcoming and nice to talk to. Also Nani, Noni and Nunu, Helenas dogs are really good company. Great community.

A Green Oasis in Patan

Extraordinary home with unique historic restoration filled with intriguing books, paintings, photos, Nepali furniture and rugs, gorgeous quilts. Ben was out of town but consistently available & Chechee who lives within the garden/compound was friendly & available & took great care of us & the home. Everything was convenient and comfortable. Ideal location.

We stayed for two days and definitely it is one of the best stays so far, property is luxurious and exactly looks alike to that in photos. You’ll get the Newari architecture vibes. It is at walkable distance from Patan Durbar Square. It had all the amenities listed. I would have never imagined that properties like these would exist in busy old Patan area 🤐 Nigen made our stay easier by being responsive and even helping us with bus booking to Pokhara and the cab towards the end of the stay. We trusted him blindly for this, and he was confident to get things done. He communicated superbly for each detail. It made our early morning check-out super smooth. This is highly recommended!

Staying at Ramesh's place is one of the most special experiences I've had in now over 14 years of AirBnb experiences. This is truly a homestay. If you are looking for a box on a wall with a code and not meeting a single local. May I say, like in Covid times stay home. This is truly an immersion in Nepal. An incredibly lovely family, you have your privacy when you need it and your advice and cultural immersion which is what I hope we are looking for when travelling to magnificent Nepal. Ramesh will help in airport pickup, dropoff and excursions at unbeatuable prices! Ramesh and his family represent what AirbnB was supposed to be and what a true traveller should look for: LIVING truly in the country you visit, with the locals. This is a beautiful apartment right in the center of Bhaktapur 🙏🏽 the view is beautiful from the rooms, kitchen and rooftop. beds were very comfortable and there are heaters if you get too cold. the stairs are very steep. highly recommend
