Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Whitney

This place was a fantastic getaway from the city. The area was peaceful, and the residents are very friendly. Loved that the place was walkable to the lake, and there was plenty of nearby trails as well. We forgot to bring a lot but the airbnb came with everything you could need. I was very impressed with how well stocked the place was. The hot tub of course was the cherry on top of it all. Rodney was so kind to allow my sister to visit as well. I mean really couldn’t have had a better experience, would highly recommend!

Had a great Galentine's weekend at this home. Plenty of space for our group. Short drive to all the Waco hot spots. We were already planning our next stay when we left.

This tiny cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The land around the cottage is very peaceful, and the trails are great for dogs. Pamela and her husband are very friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself is the perfect size for two (plus a few pets). There is a town close by with great restaurants.

Had a lovely time with my family and pups. The place is serene and the views are beautiful. The cabin is right next to Homestead Heritage, which is also a beautiful place too. You can see the Brazos river from the property as well. Magnolia Silos is a 15-20 min pleasant drive. Host was very attentive and stopped by once to collect our trash. The area where the cabin is located is not completely private so we did have a few people passing by, but nothing that took away from our great experience. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

The Little Red Hen was one of multiple stops on our anniversary trip, and by far a favorite!! Tiny but absolutely adequate and cozy. The entire area is so calm and peaceful, and our host was available immediately if we had needed anything. We will definitely return in the future.

Karen's place is absolutely beautiful & at a great price point. The bed is very comfortable and our son loved the loft room. Being able to see the moon & stars at night was incredibly peaceful & enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning!

This is such a nice cottage by the river, (it’s visible from the back porch) and it’s right next to Big Rocks park as well as settlers village located right across the spillway, both of which are safe places with nice scenery for walking. I had a peaceful and quiet stay and really enjoyed the location and amenities, thanks for being a great host!

Amazing stay! The hosts were super kind and offered plenty of recommendations for nearby entertainment and good food, and the BnB itself was spotless and private! Would absolutely stay again in the future!

The location was very close to MCC’s Highlander Ranch where we were volunteering at a horse show. Place was quiet and spotless. We loved the provided snacks and coffee. Very appreciated. Will definitely look to stay again if we are back in the area.
