Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Rotoiti

We all felt like home. All of we’re not happy to leave the house on checkout day. The house pulling us back. Thanks Ken for sharing his house to us. The neighbour was very friendly, he shared us some strawberries. Thanks to them as well. I highly recommend this house to people who are looking for accommodation near Tauranga, Hamilton or Rotorua. All three are not far.

We had a great time at Sam’s place - lovely apartment and Sam was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, this was a great place for our family - complete with toys and a trampoline! Able to make breakfast in the morning and sleep comfortably while being right in the heart of Rotorua. Definitely recommend!

We had stayed here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much, we were very happy to find it available again this year. It has everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garden; and is in easy walking distance of the supermarket, cafes, walking tracks etc - overall very comfortable and convenient.

We had a great stay at this place. Close to most of the attractions we planned to visit. The host was great too. Love to visit there again.

Fantastic property in a great location. Great areas with 2 outdoor spaces and really great en-suite with master bedroom being away from the other 2 bedrooms. Really well setup kitchen and amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay again. Host responded very quickly and check in made easy.

Thank you Rae & Rod for warmly hosting us! The luxurious set up & tasteful design was extraordinary. The home-made bottled peaches in the fridge along with other condiments was so kind and thoughtful. We had to the best night sleep ever on supper comfy bed & fresh linen. We can’t wait to visit again one day. Pleasure to meet you both loved the tour of the gardens and thank-you for the peaches fresh off the tree! Our family had a wonderful time at the farmstay! The atmosphere was fantastic, and we felt very welcomed. The kids especially loved feeding the rabbits and sheep. Thank you, Nina!

The place and view is totally amazing. We cook one night and take out the next since the view was without a doubt the best. Amazing place to reflect. We went hiking and biking around with beautiful weather. I would go back for sure.

Wow what. Place to stay! Just lovely :) such a great spot only minutes from the main strip and the beach but far enough away that you don’t hear the Saturday night boy racers raving about. Lovely hosts - amazing set up with beautiful furniture, linens and utensils. It’s inspired me to upgrade my kitchen stuff! Also - softest towels I’ve ever used! Would definitely stay again. Great value as well!

The place is beautiful. Inside and out. Very quiet, gorgeous lake. Hot tub and private beaches were nice. As pictured most certainly. One thing that we did not love that we have had more recently in airbnbs we have stayed run by management companies is the corporate sort of feel, language around rules and check-out that can be a bit harsh without the warmth of what some other airbnbs may provide. The place was certainly as billed on the website and we chose it and it was gorgeous but there was little to no flexibility around any change in checkout times or even consideration of it even if noone is booked the next day. Overall a very nice beautiful space to stay just some less personal, warm aspects of how it is run.

Beautifully appointed home tucked away in a scenic locale with easy access to all of Rotorua’s attractions. Quality of fittings and furnishing was top notch and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, even though the 3 neigbouring villas were occupied at the time we were there. Private tubs were a bonus for stargazing at night.

We had an enjoyable stay at Amy's place and she was a lovely host to us. Highly recommend! 😊

Susan and Pierre are great hosts and our stay had the old times sense of B&B , knowledgeable hosts about local sights, restaurants, events. Chez Pierre also provides wholesome tasty hot breakfasts. We did have one his wonderful dinners as well. Room was roomy and guests are not locked away into in-law suite, so the feeling is more the paid-guest style - which we miss in this Airbnb era.

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.

Des’ place is awesome! The whole place feels like you’re staying in a museum of sports, every corner of the house tells a story. It is so personal and cozy, it makes you feel at home. Perfect location with second to none surroundings. Just a few minutes drive from Rotorua, perfect if you want to get away from the noise and hurry of the day to day life.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!
