Lake side house rentals in Lake Rescue

There is so much that can be said. From check-in instructions to location, it was great. Even though we had a jam packed weekend with a Middlebury graduation, it was nice to return to such a serene location. Everything was explained in great detail. With the temperatures that weekend being so frigid, with us Floridians, the heating system made it oh so comfortable. When we were in the house, we enjoyed watching the locals ice fishing on the lake. Maureen went to great lengths to detail the use of everything in the house. If we ever have the opportunity to travel back up in the summer, would love to have use of the space and enjoy the lake.

We had a lovely time at this place, it’s a bit small but we’ll appointed and you can’t beat the location, right on the river! The views out the back were incredible every day. This didn’t impact us but be aware the upstairs loft area is probably better for children and a tall adult would feel pretty cramped up there. As a rather short crew my family had no problems 😂. Would definitely stay again.

The place was amazing. It was what the pictures show plus much more. Me and 10 of my friends slept comfortably and had a great time. Many games, nice kitchen, clean rooms and bathrooms, and if you’re a winter lover, hope it snows because this yard is amazing. We went sledding like kids again it was great. Definitely recommend. Right near mt. Snow and town of Wilmington which has great food options. Overall, quite the memorable stay.

Staying at David’s place was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cozy fireplace made for the perfect atmosphere to relax, and we absolutely loved using the record player—it added such a unique and nostalgic touch to our stay. Every detail of the home was thoughtfully arranged, and everything was incredibly comfortable. David was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. Amazing stay with our friends at Doc and Missy’s place. We all wowed at the inner furbishing style. Doc and Missy are extremely responsive and helpful. Amazing hosts and amazing inner and outer environment. Will choose to come back again if we are going to Vermont again.

Amazing stay, everything was cozy and beautiful. Only had one downside which was how open the 2nd bedroom was but apart from that it was an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay up here in Vermont. Andrew is an amazing host and super charming. 10/10 host , 9/10 house !

My family and I had a great time at Ashley’s beautiful home. The home was even nicer than pictured. Very roomy and nicely decorated. Everything you needed was provided. Also her home was energy efficient and environmentally friendly, which I appreciated. The outdoors was perfect for my pup to run around. We also got to enjoy the lake, canoeing and fishing. We will definitely be back!

Nice location - beautiful view of Lake Dunmore and close distance to XC skiing locations. A bit further for downhill but still easily able to get the slopes when the lifts opened. Very responsive and flexible host. Had a great time relaxing at the house after enjoying the day in the snow.

Topher and Nikki were lovely hosts, and the house was great. It is very well located to ski Bromley Mountain and just a short drive to Stratton. While the weather was extreme during our stay with lots of snow, we were comfy inside and plowed out quickly!

We had a great stay - such a beautiful location and home with all the amenities. The 4 private bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. There was a snow storm during our stay and Christine was proactive in reaching out to ensure the driveway was plowed. Thank you!

Our family of five just spent Thanksgiving at the lake house. Its size and layout accommodated us well - having the second frig became necessary. It’s a lovely place and stunning views from almost every window. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

Stayed here for a few days at Killington. Peaceful neighborhood would recommend if you’re looking for a place to crash.

We loved our stay at Great Maples and are already thinking about booking another trip. We shared the house with another young family, and it worked out great. Plenty of space, clean, and beautiful. Private and relaxing but also lots of fun activities in neighboring towns. It even had a playroom and lots of books and toys for our kids. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location. Loved the layout, big dining table and large living room, cozy fireplace, basement game room - all was great for our group. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of skiing. Michelle was super responsive to questions during our stay.

Place is great! Super cute and Vermont-y vibe, super close to Stratton lots of open space for all your skis and stuff when you walk in. Great fireplace and cozy couch to relax. Would definitely return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Killington Getaways property near the Killington Ski Area, and it was an unforgettable experience. The combination of Vermont charm, modern amenities, and proximity to the slopes made for a perfect getaway. The highlight of the property was the cozy wood-burning fireplace, which provided a warm and inviting atmosphere after a day on the slopes. Relaxing by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa truly encapsulated the Vermont winter experience. Additionally, the indoor pool was a fantastic amenity. It was well-maintained and offered a refreshing way to unwind and soothe sore muscles. The pool area was clean and easily accessible, making it a favorite spot during our stay. The property’s location couldn’t have been better. Being just minutes away from the Killington Ski Area allowed us to maximize our time on the slopes.
