Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Lake Päijänne

4 houses for the price of one! One for sleeping, cooking, relax, one with tapwater, shower, dishwasher washing machine, one with sauna and a “grill house” where you can make fire, eat and relax. On a spacious and quiet terrain. We loved staying there!

Lovely cottage in a quiet place. We were entertained here for a full week of summer, and the place matched the photos well. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep and it was nice to take a dip in the clear lake from the sauna. We found everything we needed in the cottage, and Annina had written good instructions to make the stay smooth. The hosts were nice and everything went smoothly. Responses came quickly. You can come here again to enjoy the quiet and peace of nature!

Great setting, from the slopes, you could easily visit the cottage for coffee, for example.

Have a nice weekend with the dogs. The location was great and the apartment was peaceful. At the end of the day, it was nice to visit the sauna to relax.

We had a lovely few days at Krista and Toni’s place, beautiful scenery as-well as lots of amenities such as hot tub and fire pit! We couldn’t recommend Toni and Krista enough, who went above and beyond giving recommendations for restaurants, excursions and even a recipe for reindeer stew! This place gives you the peacefulness of rural Finland but not far from a city or town for more if you’re looking for it. Thank you again, we’d love to come back but for longer ☺️

Cozy cottage within convenient distance from the center of Lahti 🙌

We had a lovely stay at Paivi’s place. It was cosy and peaceful in a great location, particularly enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony looking at nature. You can easily walk into Lahti through the forest trails or along the lake side, and it’s easy to get to the cross country ski rental and trails on foot. The kitchen has everything you could need, Paivi has thought of everything. It’s an intimate space so would recommend for couples or close friends.

We were able to stay a little late, thanks a lot. The apartment was very cozy, peaceful, and I can definitely recommend it to others :)

The stay went very well. Jaana was friendly and helpful, the apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the living room had a great view of the lake.
