Blaine's cottage was a perfect location for a weekend at Crystal Mountain. The view of the lake is beautiful and we loved all the modern and up to date style of the house! It was so close to a handful of restaurants, brewery, and breakfast spot!

Our stay at this cottage was perfect! From the moment we walked in, we felt instantly at home in the cozy, beautifully appointed space. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including a lovely bottle of wine from a local vineyard, which was such a special and welcoming touch. Our boys had an absolute blast! They spent their days swimming in the lake, building sandcastles, and trying out water sports. In the evenings, we enjoyed gathering around the fire—both outside under the stars and inside in the warmth of the cottage. The peaceful surroundings made this the ideal retreat for our family. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the entire home was both beautiful and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Our host Cassie was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. This cottage is a true gem!

Leeann is a great host and is very thoughtful. The house being on the canal of Lake Mitchell is a fantastic feature, offering such convenient access to the lake. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a retreat!

Had an amazing quiet little get away with my family and 2 dogs. Perfect place to relax and spend time together. I would stay here again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay. I visited in the winter with my mom and 2 young kids. We had plenty of room. The house was clean and comfortable, the driveway had been plowed and the location was great. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, updated home, great outdoor setting and views of Big Platte. House was clean, and tidy. Nicely stocked. Host was very responsive and kind. The patio is large and has several seating options. The location is ideal and central to many other towns and beaches. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The place was incredibly clean upon arrival. The kitchen and living room are both very spacious and comfortable. Kevin and Emir are great hosts who are very respectful and responsive.

We could not have found a better place for our family to stay. we went skiing at Caberfae Peaks, went ice fishing on the lake, enjoyed the hot tub, and enjoyed many local restaurants. The house was beautifully decorated and all of the beds were very comfortable. The wood burning fireplace was an amazing amenity. We would absolutely recommend adding the clubhouse on, it gave our five kids endless amounts of fun. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub while 2 in of snow came down on us, it was truly a magical experience. We are already talking about coming back next year!

It was a fun birthday weekend at Cassandra’s place. The sauna was so fun and relaxing! The place was clean.

Jenna's place on Lake Lure was exactly what we wanted for a long weekend getaway. We were there to relax and to try out the lake ice fishing. We caught tons of small pike and some panfish too.

Beautiful lake home. Everything is very nice & comfortable. We enjoyed the getaway very much. Loved looking at the peaceful lake. The updates are very tastefully done. Looks like a lot of time invested into every detail. It’s well stocked-lots of games too. Restaurants, stores, ice cream all within 5 miles. Highly recommend for R&R on a big lake. Thank you!

This was our second stay with Terry & we will definitely be back! He always goes above & beyond to make sure we have everything we need & is very communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

Our small family with a baby stayed here with our friends for two days & we all couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot! Tom’s place is perfect to have loads of fun & a super comfortable stay. Snow was a bonus for us because the frozen lake and backdrop were magnificent and picture perfect! All listed amenities were available & full kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we needed to cook & enjoy home-cooked meals! Tom was pro-active, very responsive and so helpful! Definitely recommending this spot to everyone :)

Could be a little confusing to get to without the clear instructions given at check in. Appreciated quick responses when we had questions!

A very cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The fall colors were amazing.

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

Host very responsive and flexible.

This is a great place to get away and disconnect from the world. Yet within a very short drive to town. We loved heating with the wood stove. The bed we used was very comfortable. The cabin is larger than the pictures depicted. I loved the fishing from the shore. Overall, a very relaxing, enjoyable location. Sharon was very friendly and responsive. She checked in with us to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed anything. Loved our stay here.

Rick’s place was great! He was responsive and accommodating to our needs! Happy to visit again!!
