Wonderful place to stay super family friendly. Fully sticked coffee bar and the kids toys really helped. The pool staff were very helpful and friendly. I would for sure stay here again!

The cottage was cute and spotless. The beds were comfortable, including nice sheets and it had everything that we needed. We stayed during the winter so didn’t get to utilize the lake but it’s close to the house and looks like it would be awesome during the summer. It’s only a 17 min drive to Crystal Mtn.

Our stay at this cottage was perfect! From the moment we walked in, we felt instantly at home in the cozy, beautifully appointed space. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including a lovely bottle of wine from a local vineyard, which was such a special and welcoming touch. Our boys had an absolute blast! They spent their days swimming in the lake, building sandcastles, and trying out water sports. In the evenings, we enjoyed gathering around the fire—both outside under the stars and inside in the warmth of the cottage. The peaceful surroundings made this the ideal retreat for our family. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the entire home was both beautiful and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Our host Cassie was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. This cottage is a true gem!

We had such a lovely weekend. The house was adorable and comfortable, we felt right at home. We would love to come back in the summer when it’s warmer to really be able to enjoy the lake :)

Enjoyed a winter getaway at this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated & designed with fun & relaxing time in mind

The cottage was the perfect location for my getaway weekend with friends! Not only was it serene and quiet, it was picturesque. The location is just outside of Traverse City for those looking to travel there. Inside was cozy and welcoming. The space itself is curated for connection with the big screen movie projector, game room, multiple board games and fully functional kitchen; not to mention it's right on the water with an outdoor shower. The space needed to be warmed with a few space heaters, but there were more than enough to keep us toasty through the chilly evenings. I would gladly come back to the cottage!

Spider Lake Cottage is a gem! Quiet ,peaceful and beautifully decorated. Nikki has truly thought of everything to make the guests' stay PERFECT! The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the lake through the windows is so pretty. Our Lab,Louis loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks in the trees and on the ground. There were also 2 ducks that made a few visits. We came during the early spring so we used the remote controlled fireplace while we read , played games and watched TV. We enjoyed cooking, drinking wine and turning on the twinkle lights at night. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Nick answered questions quickly. The listing of Bear Lake Bliss (pictures, description) is exactly how it is. The house was spotless and stocked with everything that was needed. Our family had a great Thanksgiving.

We loved staying at this house! It was gorgeous for a little fall getaway, and even warm enough that we were able to take kayaks onto the lake! Check in was super easy, and the house had everything we needed. Kate was very helpful for any questions we had and gave us some great recommendations. Such a cute place in a great location for lots of the local tourism as well!

If you are looking for a luxury hotel feel, this is not the place. but if you are looking for a quiet, serene, and cozy getaway, this IS the spot! The lake is absolutely gorgeous. The community is clean, friendly, and quiet. The cabin has a quaint and cozy 70's vibe. We loved using the kayaks!! It was an easy trip across the lake. Due to the season, there were not a ton of things to do around. But we went hiking at beautiful Deerfield Nature Park and checked out some delicious eateries during our stay. It was the peaceful trip we were hoping for. During the summer months, our kids would love the little beach, paddle boats, and pier access to shallow water. So nice!

We had a wonderful week with extended family at Summer’s Landing. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us to be together and spread out. We made use of all of the water toys. We also took advantage of the well appointed kitchen to prepare many family meals and used the outdoor griddle for breakfasts and dinners. Upon arrival we couldn’t figure out one door and our message was answered almost immediately. Everything else was set up and explained perfectly down to a binder with local tips. I have no doubt that any family can have a wonderful stay and make great memories.

Perfect location, beautiful home and exactly as described. We visited with our kids and grandkids. Our host knew and had kid friendly activities scattered throughout the home, a few emergency diapers.❤️ The home is spotless and beautifully located on the lake. Really an exceptional find. Will go back again.

We chose this as a place for papa and his dogs to stay at with our youngest while the rest of us skied at Caberfae Peaks (1 hour drive) and Crystal Mountain (1 hour, 15 minute drive). The cottage felt small but cozy. The outside lighting for walking from the car to the cabin made the place feel safe. The views from the windows were absolutely amazing! There’s a Dollar General within 5 minutes if anything is needed Things that are neither good/bad, just neutral. Just facts that people might like to know: One of the bedrooms has a doorknob that doesn’t lock. The shower is not designed for really tall people. Also, it’s difficult to get the temperature in the shower just right (I had trouble going from lukewarm to burning hot, when I just wanted “hot.”) Overall, a really great stay and would stay again in the future if we’re in the area.

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.

Loved our stay! So much amenities: fire pit, kayak, paddle, bbq, umbrella, games, etc you name it! Common beach with the 3 other little cottages. The cottage itself is lovely, everything you need. FYI the walls don't go up to the top the roof between the rooms so you might hear your room neighbors and the house wasn't very clean and we mentioned it, it was probably because of the end of the summer! other than that, we loved our stay !

Our stay in Hersey was fantastic. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We particularly liked the sauna and the woodstove as there was a sudden drop in temperature during our stay and we were able to get very cozy. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to a friend
