Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Maggiore

Silviu is very friendly and positive host. Communication was great, we felt very comfortable at his house, and would recommend accomodation to anyone visiting Lecco and neighbourhood.

Very pleasant contact and quick response. We felt very comfortable. The flat was very spacious, modern and clean. In the terrace we were able to relax and enjoy the sun's rays. We will be happy to come back.

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Sorico. Paola and her son Francis greeted us in a very friendly way and were quick to respond to inquiries. The apartment is very small (especially the kitchen and common room), but very tidy. The equipment with dish soap, soap, umbrella, clothes rack, baking paper, salt... was good. The two air conditioners were great! The pool, which belongs to the neighboring apartment complex, is very quiet with a magnificent view of the church. The location of the apartment is perfect. In just a few minutes you can reach the pizzeria, the bakery and the supermarket and of course the lake with large sunbathing area. All in all a good value and recommended.

Pretty picturesque house on the heights of the city with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, located in a typical and charming Italian neighborhood and also on the edge of nature. It is also very well located for visiting the Maggiore and Orta Lakes. The house is certainly old but has all modern comforts. This place is reserved for people in good physical shape sinceafter climbing a small slope to get there, there are still steps to climb!!! Cristina is very helpful, good advice and responsive. This is an address that we highly recommend.

The house we rented in Italy was clean and in an excellent location for excursions. It provided easy access to various attractions, making it ideal for day trips. We all felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The combination of cleanliness and convenience contributed to a pleasant experience for everyone.

Enrica's place is the best I've stayed for this trip. The kitchen was fully equipt, as was the bathroom. Both of these were in pristine condition; very clean and organised. I particularly loved the little touches i.e, paintings by Enrica and cute items, which were strategically place in the apartment. Enrica communicated clearly a day before check-in to ensure that I knew how to get into the house. Enrica and family are very hospitable people and made sure I felt at home. I recommend Enrica's place to everyone, without doubt.

We had a wonderful week at the apartment! The location is great, downtown. Everything was very neat and clean and communication with Manuel is also very fast and friendly. We'd love to come back!

It was very quiet , quiet neighborhood, but about 20 minutes walking to the nearest train station.

Our stay at Sveva’s place was fantastic. She was always responsive, the loft was as described and she was very helpful with local recommendations. Its location is perfect to be able to walk in all directions but specifically to the lake (10-20 minutes depending on pace). It was very clean, upgraded and modern and would highly recommend.

Very nice space, I really felt a cone at home, the gifts left very delicious, a very safe area, and the learning for transportation very curious but all spectacular. I hope to have the opportunity to return

Very good stay in the apartment which is very pleasant to live in and in which there is everything for a great stay. Very available and responsive host. The accommodation is very well located and allows access to the center and the lake on foot.

We got to the accommodation easily and received clear check in instructions. We found the apartment clean, with 2 rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom, so we had to buy more from the store. We didn't want to ask for extra because the ones that were there were quite thin and if we got 2 more, they probably ended as quickly. We also bought a roll of kitchen paper because it was not at all and would have been useful. I loved that in the bathroom the shower has pressure so I was able to gently rinse off my hair. There is also a hairdryer. I would also have appreciated some disposable slippers because the floor is quite cold, although there was heat in the floor, but not in the bedroom. We also received restaurant recommendations if requested. Overall I was satisfied with the accommodation. I had a good time, it was warm. Every now and then trains would go by, but I sleep with plugs anyway so I didn't bother.

This apartment was spacious and perfect for our family of 6. It was in a great location - 5 minutes from the Lake Como Greenway, 15 mins to Lenno ferry port. It is also close to the bus stop and nearby supermarket. We loved it as a base to explore the middle lake. Riccardo and Valeria were such friendly hosts and their son Davide was always available to answer questions and make local recommendations. We had a great stay in Ossuccio.

We stayed at this home for 4 nights. It was as shown in the pictures and very quiet. Contact with Irene was smooth from the beginning and she clearly described the way to the farm. The place doesn't have that much to offer, but is a good base for looking at another place. The accommodation is on an olive farm and Irene also sells the specially produced olive oil there. We couldn't use the pool due to the weather, but the view of the lake from the balcony is unbeatable. We absolutely recommend the place and would certainly come back.

Andrea’s apartment was clean, spacious, and matched the description. The kitchen was well-equipped and Andrea provided many recommendations of places to see, restaurants, and local amenities. The apartment is a little further away from the downtown areas and ferry terminals than we expected, but it meant a lovely walk along the water everyday. This beautiful location and the lovely little cafe across the street are highly recommended.

The house is in a great location, a short walk from the pedestrian area. Well-equipped and clean. Very kind and helpful host. Recommended!

Our stay at Cindy & Joe's apartment was absolutely perfect! From the first contact to the departure, everything worked out wonderfully, and we felt completely comfortable. Cindy and Joe are very warm and thoughtful hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests have a great stay. Requests were always answered extremely quickly and kindly, so we felt well taken care of at all times. We were very nicely received by Cindy personally and felt welcome right away. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, cozy and perfectly equipped. You can tell that Cindy and Joe are hosts with a lot of love and commitment. There is so much to boast about Andreas place and it still Would not do it justice. Andreas place was just as described and as the pictures show. The place is pristine and I cannot put into words the view that greets you, just insanely beautiful. Andrea provides clear instructions, recommendations on what to see and do, which I would suggest you follow as so many beautiful places within the recommendations and definitely worth the visit. Andrea is an attentive host answering all your questions and ensuring your stay is positive. Andrea’s place will not disappoint you, its so peaceful and we are incredibly sad to be leaving today. When arranging Andrea’s recommendation was to hire a car which was great advice and allowed us to explore lake Como to its fullest. We cannot wait to come back and haven't even left Italy yet. We had a great time at Mario's place. The apartment was great for our family (2 adults 2 children and 1 baby) Check-in with the lockbox (as we were arriving very late) was very convenient. We were able to meet Mario the next morning. He explained how the shuttles work on the lake. He gave us good places to eat/shop and/or order for delivery in the evening. Mario is a very available and accommodating host. The apartment is true to the listing and very clean. We highly recommend Mario and his apartment!
