Lake side house rentals in Lake Eden

This place was a perfect get away; peaceful, cozy and with a view! The hosts were responsive and friendly. The location has necessities close to it by car and it’s not too far away from Burlington if you need a bit more. The house was very clean - our only comment would be that there was a bit of a musty odour to the place. We would definitely return if we’re ever back in Vermont!

Loved this house! Having 3 full bathrooms and 4 full bedrooms is amazing for a large group. Fully stocked kitchenware made it easy to cook for 10 people. Lots of space to hang out, beautiful view. Would absolutely recommend!

We were so pleased with our stay here. It had it all! We were able to relax and completely unwind. The home is exactly as described and so much more. Our host was absolutely amazing. Everything was communicated and Rod and Lulu went above and beyond to make our stay special. This will be our first choice in Vermont to stay again.

Great place! Right on the lake, next to Craftbury Outdoor Center! Melanie was also very responsive when we had a little snag and had to change plans. Would recommend based on location + house + host!

My boyfriend and I were just passing through the area and checked into a nearby hotel but when we realized how terrible the hotel was we started looking for a better option. Ash’s place came up so we reached out to see if there was anyway we could stay the night. It was very last minute on our part but Ash responded quickly and saved us from a not so pleasant hotel stay. The cottage was so cute and perfect! Everything was very clean and we would highly recommend!

Just the peaceful spot we were looking for in the winter season. We were snowed in but absolutely content looking out over the water from the cozy living room. Cute downtown area with book shops, cafes, restaurants and a park all 5-10 mins drive away. Complete serenity over the holidays.

I had a fantastic weekend resting & relaxing in this serene, cozy cabin. That it was only 10°F outside made it even better! Kathy was a wonderful host who went out of her way to help in a moment of crisis –– and the cabin was warm, well-lit, and supremely well-equipped for both "cooking-in" & "hunkering–down." Multiple front-facing windows (with a view to Great Hosmer Pond) made me feel all the more at home in the woods. Thanks so much, Kathy, for a magical stay. I hope to return!

Mitch has a lovely home with beautiful surroundings (Lake Champlain for kayaking and listening to the water lap on the shore, view of mountains across in the Adirondacks), local walks in the area are nice. Hiking not far away. We went into Burlington for a concert. Nice to realize that Mitch is related to a close friend of mine. A very peaceful spot,

Very cozy cabin right in front of a beautiful lake. Our stay was very peaceful, pleasant and we made the most out of the hot tub. House is well equipped with pots and pans as well as the host was kind enough to have the fridge stocked up with eggs, butter, milk etc etc ( basic food items). Indoor fireplace looks aesthetically beautiful and the house is well maintained. I don’t have any complaints/ cons to mention apart from just saying that the water pressure was a bit low but it’s not a problem. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Bill’s place was a perfect spot for us and our kids to stay at and only a short drive to XC skiing, sledding, and downhill skiing. We highly recommend his place and will back again!

The cozy cottage was a great base for our trip to the White Mountains. Only 30 minutes from the Woodstock and Lincoln area via a beautiful drive. Mornings sipping coffee on the deck while taking in nature—perfection! Even with the weather being colder and foggy. A bald eagle flew right by the deck our first morning and it was stunning. It is a more rustic place, designed to unplug from technology, so just be prepared; it was exactly what we needed though. We loved our visit and would stay again!

We had a great stay at Suncroft. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the pefect place to unplug and find peace. Absolutely beautiful in the winter. I was trying to bottle up all that I was feeling so I could bring it home with me. Definitely a place to return to in the future.

The lakefront cottage was exactly as advertised. The house was charming, clean, well organized, and easy to relax in. We had a wonderful time as a family, sitting by the fire, eating delicious local food and watching the scenery of the lake. It was easy for us to get around the area and Sarah made everything easy. We recommend this cottage for future visits to Vermont and are looking forward to our next stay.

We were greeted by Lisa’s adorable golden retrievers and a beautiful view of the lake. The cottage is waterfront and not only has a large deck from which to enjoy the scenic surroundings but huge windows to enjoy the view from inside on the comfy living room furniture. The home is immaculate and spacious. The atmosphere and decor is one of peace and relaxation. Will definitely be returning!

Such a great location for a quick nourishing retreat or getaway that has all the conveniences to make the stay one that is Homie and relaxing or supportive of adventuring and going out. Any support and communications between Erik and us were professional, responsive, and impressively speedy. All the aspects of the day are very comfortable and mindfully curated as well thought out. We loved the shower design, hot tub, grill, and wood fired stove. We have very much appreciated the privacy and the easy access to adorable Sutton.

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

Liza’s home was beautiful, and it couldn’t be closer to Stowe Mountain Resort. It was the perfect ski trip house for my group, and the host was incredibly accommodating and helpful.

Daveo was a great host. This was the perfect spot for our friends, kids and dogs! We stayed on New Years Eve and were able to see the Stowe mountain and town fireworks from the living room and deck! It was a great, cozy, space for a family getaway and ski weekend!

Very nice home with great amenities. Great location to and from everything. Nicely distributed with space for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the home has plenty of towels etc. Overall it was a great place for weekend or longer. Maria was easy to communicate with and there were no issues.

Margaret's house was ideal for our vacation. We especially liked the kayaks and the entry to the lake, the grill, and the lovely back porch, which accommodated many family members of all ages. We took side trips to Canada, Glover, and Lake Willoughby. We ordered pizza from Hoagies for our first night, since we figured nobody would want to cook. We saw a bald eagle, completed a jigsaw puzzle and built an epic Jenga. I made a mistake by not pulling the Casella trash bin closer to the road on Wednesday night. Maybe that requirement could be put into the "house rules" part of the website? Margaret was always available to answer our questions, replying immediately to our texts. If anything, her kitchen is "over-stocked" with pantry items (maybe from previous guests?), which included lots of helpful Tupperware. The lake is beautiful , with few motorboats to disturb the calm. We'd love to come back.

The place was perfect! Quite spacious including the heated sunroom porch. Beautiful secluded yard while still being right next to ski resorts. And Don was super helpful and friendly.

The house was the cleanest we have ever stayed at. The pictures actually don’t show how beautiful the space truly is! As mentioned in other posts, you do need to know that there is little privacy (no noise deadening) in the upstairs bathroom. Four of the bedrooms had privacy, one is a loft type area that you have to walk past to get downstairs. These two super minor things were not an issue for us and we had 4 teenage boys with us but may be good to know for others booking. The house was amazing and we would love to come back next year!
