Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Conjola

Thank you for a lovely stay. The kids loved the easy access to the lake for fishing and made lots of use of the kayaks. We were two families and we loved that there were two living rooms so the kids could have some space too. It was so nice to huskisson and all the lovely beaches too. We loved our stay

The beautiful outdoor space & view of the lake was very inviting & relaxing. We enjoyed watching the ducks & jumping fish, and the occasional visit from a kangaroo. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, cutlery & dinnerware, as well as a large bbq area. A home away from home.

A 4 night stay at this beautiful home just wasn’t enough - We miss it already! Both Home & Garden cottage were cosy, well-equipped and decorated so beautifully! Cooking in the kitchen staring out the window while watching our children play on the lawn and relaxing in the living room while looking out to the lake at sunset are just some of the memories that we will treasure from our stay. Some highlights were enjoying the jacuzzi at sunset, playing cards at the gorgeous large round table and enjoying the Sonos sound system with our favourite playlists. We visited a different beach everyday, had a great meal at Culburra bowling club & spent some well overdue quality time as a Family in the perfect setting. Just to add - the Bathrooms were incredible, Bedrooms so cosy and inviting, living spaces wonderful - overall just perfect. Honestly, it was such a gorgeous stay & we will remember it always. Thank you so much Susannah, you were the perfect host & we hope to stay again soon!

We had a lovely stay, the view was beautiful and the place was nice and peaceful. Angela was a great host, always quick to respond and very accommodating. She even offered late checkout when she didn't have anyone else coming to stay, which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this place :)

This place is amazing. Easy to find and exactly what was advertised and more! We had 2 teenagers who were entertained by the water out the back and the bike track out the front. The house was big enough for us all, the garage allowed easy access for the kids to get and store their bikes and water floats. The kids would fish in low tide and float in the water on high tide while I enjoyed the lounge on the back veranda. This place is the perfect family retreat. Thank you!

Thank you for everything Denise. We had a fabulous weekend with three generations. Fishing off the jetty was a hit. The kids caught bream, mullet, garfish and blackfish and let them go again. Relaxing surroundings and home is perfect.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Nick's place. The house was more than large enough for our large group (two large families), and its modern appearance and facilities gave us the comfort of staying at a multi-star hotel. If you're like us and are looking for a place to get away and play board games and TTRPGs, then Nick's massive table will make this the place for you :)

This is our second trip to this beautiful space in culburra and it’s quickly become our home away from home. John and Leigh are the kindest most responsive hosts I’ve ever met. Always attentive and helpful whenever possible. Their space is in such a convenient location, nestled between the beach and local shops and cafes but also an amazing space to host our large group’s annual beach trip full of laughter, backyard barbecue’s, big full dinners and board games. Their space is pristine and spacious and exactly as the pictures depict it to be, a small oasis to getaway to. Coming back to an Airbnb is not something I’ve ever done, I’m glad we did because this one is one that we’ll be coming back to annually from here on out. Thanks John and Leigh! We’ll be seeing your lovely place soon, we’re already counting down the days

We walked down the lush garden path in through the front door and immediately felt calm, at ease and energised. We opened all the doors and windows, looked over the river from the deck. Didn’t feel like leaving. We mainly cooked instead of eating out, all doing’s bought locally with the kitchen well stocked with crockery, cookware, utensils and appliances. With all seasons experienced in our 3 day stay - from humid 37C to cool and raining, but hardly used the air-con. We used the huge bath and river below for regular cooling off, and the fireplace was there should it have been needed. The cicada’s were incredible - waves of sound like rain squalls, new bird noises every day and visits from possums. Though close to neighbours - we couldn’t have felt more private. Can’t wait to come back in winter….

Enjoyed our stay at Nicola’s over the New Year break. The Cottage is beautifully presented, fenced backyard perfect for small dogs and children. We’ve driven through Burrill Lake many times, but really enjoyed staying and exploring. The cottage is walking distance to everything and the area is very dog friendly. Definitely recommend Nicola’s place.

A great place to stay in Culburra - Clean, quiet, spacious, and also caters for travelling with a baby. Rod gave some awesome local recommendations which we took, and we had a great few days out of Sydney. Would stay here again.

The Green Island Beach House is a fab place for a big family group - there's enough very comfy beds for ten people, with a double and two singles in a sunroom arrangement leading onto an outside verandah. There are also two living areas which is great if you prefer to read quietly while your holiday-mates chat or play games. The kitchen is compact but really well equipped, and the hosts provide beautiful fresh fruit, coffee, milk, and other brekky options. Prospective guests should know that the gas barbecue in the photos is no longer there, but there is an outdoor wood barbie which David set for us. The location is incredible - it's a short walk to Manyana Beach to the north, and there are multiple paths to the south to Cunjurong Point, Green Island, and Lake Conjola. It's also steps away from the little Cunji take-away. David is a generous and very responsive host, and a genuinely interesting guy. Loved our stay - thank you!

We stayed 4 nights at Linda’s place. We have three small children, 5,4 and 18 months. The location is absolutely perfect for Callala Bay. An easy walkable path to the beach/bay. The kids rode their scooters down and we pulled the beach trolley. The entrance to the beach/bay is where the creek meets the bay. White sands, calm morning waters. It was perfect for us, as the waves aren’t crazy. The kids could swim in the shallow water and go exploring along the creek. We saw pelicans, collect shells and found shark eggs. A quick walk back to the house and an outside hot shower to rise the sand off. Block out blinds, comfortable beds, Netflix’s for the kids at night. If you want a location pretty much on the beach/bay with small children Linda’s place is perfect.

Amazing house perfect for a family holiday. House was pristine and spacious, the pool was amazing. What a great location to relax and unwind. Lynley was fantastic with recommendations in the local area, and super responsive. Definitely look to stay here again.

Third time we have staying. Best week of the year, heaps of room for our two large families and a great location walk to the beach and lake. Rob has been great with communication and always generous with early/late checkin/out. Already asked to re-book next year.

Great place for a family reunion. Enjoyed by all, from Sydney, Canberra and overseas, aged from 2 years to 82 years old, and 2 dogs. Within walking distances to beaches and lake. Lovely view of the water from the front balcony, and beautiful sunset from the lake. Excellent place to unwind after Christmas. Mary LS

Easy to access, clean and well appointed bathrooms and kitchen. Comfortable lounges and multiple areas outside to sit. Lovely gardens and nature to relax in. Thanks Clare for your lovely home to stay in.

House is great and the garden is incredible, lots of space to relax and enjoy the sunset.

We had the best time with our family of 6 including 4 young kids. Great location and view. It was rainy for most of our stay but was nice to stay warm inside with the fireplace and view of the beach outside. When the weather cleared we loved hanging out on the beach collecting shells and walking further down the beach to the national park. Lots of thoughtful touches, and well equipped house an kitchen. Definitely recommend and would love to visit again. Very close to the local shops and a short drive to beautiful beaches and snorkelling areas. Loved our stay!

I visited the place with parents and family. The place was squeaky clean with everything you would need in a house. We lived the stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Sussex inlet.
