Townhome vacation rentals in Lake Como

For our surprise weekend for the birthday of our mom, we've chosen this place. Communication with Jo was great. She always responded very quickly. We also had a small water issue and Jo responded immediately. The approach is actually very adventurous and very steep, especially when it rains and the foliage is wet, it was a bit difficult to get back to get back to. The place was very clean and well stocked. We would come back!

We were Alessia's guests for 15 days, the information received for check-in was very clear, timely and accurate, flexible check-in is a great convenience. The apartment matches the listing photos and the cleanliness is great. The garage from which you can directly access the house is very convenient. The location is great, sunny with panoramic mountain views during the day and in the evening you can admire the stars. Nearby you can reach all the necessary services. We thank Alessia for always being available, quick to respond and kind.

Colico is nice and not too touristy. Place is on two floors the lower floor or the basement is a bit damp and cold, but it’s still a nice space; the second floor is nice with mountain views. House is on a steep hill, 20 min walk up. Maria is a nice and kind host. She is very accommodating and responsive. Internet is not super fast but works good enough. Nice place for long stays as well. Definitely recommend

Our stay at this lakeside Airbnb was nothing short of magical. Waking up to serene water views and the gentle sounds of nature set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The property was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and offered direct access to the lake, making it perfect for morning coffees on the dock and evening sunsets. The hosts were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking peace and natural beauty.

We had a lovely stay in Gravedona. Francesca was always available and very flexible. The place has a very nice promenade (right outside the door) and a great beach, especially for children, which is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is on the ground floor, very reassured as the house is surrounded by greenery and gardens. There is no through traffic here as it is located in the backyard directly to the lake. The access to the lake is locked by a door, which may be used with a paddle board from Francesca. This is good, otherwise all holiday guests of the different apartments would walk by. We felt comfortable and thank Francesca. Tip: Rent a boat in Dongo, behind the Iperal or enjoy the lake by the beach. The best ice cream is on the promenade just in front of the church.

Fantastic place. - Magnificent lake view from the terrace and balcony to the bedrooms. One evening we were lucky enough to be able to see fireworks in Locarno from the terrace. - parking lot near the stairs to the cottage. The stairs to the cottage can be a problem if you are less mobile. - One of the few cottages where everything is provided, where you should not compromise in comfort compared to your own home. - Good base for excursions around Lake Maggiore - clean pool near the cottage. We will almost definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Roberta's. It is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the accommodation is well equipped. There were 5 of us, and we appreciated that there were 2 bathrooms. Good hospitality from the owners and the pool manager.

Really nice place in a small town above Lago di Como. Everything is as described, but you need to keep in mind, that the apartment is located on a steep hill that is about 350m above the lake.

Great stay of 3 nights of 2 adults and a little girl (1.5y old). Host even provided us with barriers as protection given the 2 flights of stairs in the flat. Very calm area and beautiful view of the valley below. Little city center close-by provides all that’s needed, for bigger shopping necessities car needed. Lugano center 10-15mins away depending on traffic!

Beautiful holiday home, perfectly equipped and with garden area. Both culture and nature can be reached quickly, absolutely recommended with a dog, from Claro direct hikes possible. Nearby (Preonzo) small lake, where the dog can be taken and you can swim. Shopping unproblematic, several large supermarkets can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Bellinzona about 25 minutes, Locarno, Ascona, Verzasca Valley about 40 min. Contact with the host was very nice. The property is highly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful days.

A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday! The apartment is very cozy, the many beautiful outdoor areas invite you to linger, the view and surroundings are fantastic. We were able to explore Lake Maggiore and the countryside around the Ticino and enjoyed the stay overall. Great recommendation, thank you, see you again soon!

House full of charm: the art deco spirit has been preserved, while being well renovated. Very easy trips everywhere (many buses and trams nearby), quiet and charming cul-de-sac, some food shops in the neighborhood as well as restaurants and cafes. Fluid communication: Elisabeta is very friendly and super responsive. In short, we highly recommend this place for a family. It's a haven of peace when you get back from a day of sightseeing.

We had a great stay, lovely house and garden space, beautiful views of the lake and mountains! The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. WiFi was a bit too weak to have video calls but phone network was good enough to use hotspots instead. Thanks again for all the local recommendations too!

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay!! We loved the views and location. Also Lierna is amazing and we can’t wait to go back!! You must try Sister’s Cafe and tell Cenzia I sent you! Two things I wish I would have known about this stay beforehand - I would’ve still booked it because it is an absolutely lovely home. If you are walking, the home is straight uphill - it’s an intense walk especially with luggage. Also, the booking states there are heated pools… we only saw one and it was closed. I asked about it and our host stated the pool is open in June. We really loved the home and would stay there again!!

Good value for money, host was good and apartment had everything you’d need along with a great shower. It’s around a 20 minute walk to the main town but the good thing about staying here is you can get to more local places up towards the mountains within a 15 minute walk with some nice cafe and restaurant. The only downside we found is the noise from the dogs that live on the street, they bark at 7.30am daily and it’s impossible to sleep through. Not fault of the host there’s a lot of dogs in the area in general but mentioning as it did affect our trip slightly. Would still stay again however.

Alex and Leonardo were very helpful, they gave us a walkthrough of the property when we arrived and made sure we knew how to work the hot-tub, etc. before they left. Their place had all the needed amenities including a bunch of outlet adapters which was great as we were from out of country. The view.. absolutely amazing. When you see it you will not regret staying in their place. The town of Varenna can get pretty crowded but Bellano which was about 4 mins away had a much quieter feel with the ability to park and walk around. If you’re a bigger person you may find the shower to be a but small (I’m 6’2” - 220lbs and it was hard to move around in) but it got the job done and they have done a lot with the space they have so don’t let that stop you. Both hosts were very polite and friendly when we arrived even though we were very late due to delayed trains and some difficulties with getting our rental car. 100% would stay again!
