Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Charlevoix

Up North was a great place for our family of 5 to stay. It was close to skiing at Schuss Mountain and not too far from other ski resorts. Plenty of room for all of us. House was clean, which I always appreciate! Host was very responsive and answered all our questions. A hot tub on the deck would be the perfect addition to this great cabin:). We would stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful and perfect stay at Kelsey's place. She was so accommodating and helpful. The place was ready upon our arrival; very clean! The lake view was absolutely gorgeous!!! Easy to use hot tub instructions was a great way to end our daily hikes! Lots and lots of hikes around, even during the winter time! Relatively close to downtown traverse city if you want a change of scenery! Overall, would definitely go back and we had a great stay

We had a wonderful time! Loved that they had a Christmas tree on, I was a bit sad to leave our tree during the holiday, but Stephanie’s house was beautifully decorated! The house was perfect for our family of four. Could probably fit another small child comfortably as well. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, the fenced in yard was perfect. We would definitely look into renting this house again. Great restaurants that are not too far of a drive. We did not use the grill, but it was a nice amenity to have if you were wanting to eat your meals in the house. Thanks again, Stephanie, have a wonderful new year!!

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful and beautiful stay in a private area of Elmira but close enough to Gaylord and Boyne for activities. Gorgeous cabin with relaxing vibes! Host was proactive with details about our stay and did forewarn us about the abundance of snow they were getting and to make sure we were driving up with a 4x4 vehicle. I will say that despite having an suv in snow mode, we got stuck at the entrance of the driveway for a half hour and used their shovel to dig ourselves out while pushing the vehicle too. For future guests, if you know it's going to snow a lot, come prepared with grips for your tires in case this happens. Besides that adventurous little hiccup, I highly recommend this place and bet it's even more fun in the summer!

This place is a gem! It is clean, quiet and perfect for a girls trip getaway! Super easy to arrive, check out and great extras like spices, utensils, bathroom necessities! We will be back!

Nice, new unit. nice extras like pour over coffee and snacks. very comfortable beds. clean and properly working hot tub. my kids (11, 13) loved the lofts, but I could see those ladder's being an issue for smaller kids.

A great weekend getaway for my fiancés birthday! The cabin was very clean and cozy. We truly enjoyed the location as we live in the city and the silence was so peaceful. Lots of amenities in cabin and updated appliances! Now for you guest, please stop using metal utensils in pots/pans whether at home or here! Thank you Kyle for offering this beautiful location and well kept cabin for guest.

Our stay here was very nice! It was very dog friendly and the house was very cozy. You have to keep the doors open in the bedrooms for the heat to radiate properly, but we didn’t mind that. It was a perfect cabin for our trip!

This house was very cute. I'll say this first - i do not recommend this house for anyone with walking limitations, as all the bedrooms are up some steep, narrow stairs - we are all very capable physically and were thankful to leave there without falling down them when carrying anything down. That's literally the only negative. The location is convenient as a home base for enjoying activities in the Gaylord area and also wandering on foot outside the house, with the lake right across the street and walking our dog around the neighborhood the house is situated in. We unwound before bed with our 7 year old by listening to records on the record player there and playing board games that are provided. And the Michigan-made Faygo pops and Better Made chips were a nice homey touch.

Monica Made sure we were set up from the booking on with clear instructions for check-in and directions. We arrive to a very clean cabin and a sweet gift basket which was perfect for us! She sent us a list of local things to do and restaurants which was extremely helpful. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we could ever need for our stay and there was clear expectations for check out. The entire experience was amazing and we enjoyed the cabin so much we want to build one of our own! Thank you so much for sharing it with us and making our anniversary weekend stay phenomenal!

Such a great stay with this host! The space was perfect for what I was looking for. It’s not what you’d need for a group, but if you are traveling solo or with your +1, this place will check all the boxes.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

This is a great place to get away and disconnect from the world. Yet within a very short drive to town. We loved heating with the wood stove. The bed we used was very comfortable. The cabin is larger than the pictures depicted. I loved the fishing from the shore. Overall, a very relaxing, enjoyable location. Sharon was very friendly and responsive. She checked in with us to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed anything. Loved our stay here.

Had a lovely stay here! My mom and I rented for Christmas and it was perfect. Super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. They even had it decorated for the holiday. Would stay here again.

Nice cabin, nice sauna, great property.

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Awesome place for a weekend

Such an adorable cabin. Everything is there that you'd need and more. Cozy, warm and inviting. We were in a predicament, and Erin came to our rescue. We couldn't have been happier.

Went for a 2 day golf trip to Forest Dunes, the cabin was about a mile from the entrance. Everything was very clean, new, and working in the cabin. I hope this place is available the next time we come back, would highly recommend.

Great communication and response time while we where there. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked.
