Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Bob Sandlin

My husband and I had a last minute get away for a fishing trip. This place was perfect for the two of us! Nice and quaint little guest house with a great dock - Kerin was a wonderful host with great communication! Would recommend if you find yourself needing a place in the area!

We had an AMAZING time at Kathleen’s cottage by the lake during part of our Christmas 🎄 2024 vacation. The cottage is very modern and is beautiful both inside and out. The surrounding area felt very peaceful and even though you are surrounded by other cottages nearby…we felt a sense of peace and solitude. The cottage was clean and decluttered and we truly felt at home during our stay. Our host, Kathleen, was extremely helpful and very attentive and when we indicated an issue with the dishwasher…she was apologetic and issued us a partial refund for our inconvenience. We highly recommended Kathleen’s cottage if you’re in the area and if you’re not in the area …it’s definitely worth the time and effort if you’re looking for peaceful getaway. 5+ Stars!

Great little cabin. Close to our destination...just over a mile. Quiet and peaceful place. We loved looking over the water in the morning!

The property is amazing. The space was perfect for our family of 6 and the grand parents. Loved the record collection great music and a very personal touch! It was a perfect weekend

This place was everything we were expecting and more. It was pristine. We loved the view of the lake out the window and waking up to a beautiful sunrise. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio facing the water and listening to the birds sing! We enjoyed the sand volleyball court at sunset and eating a meal at the restaurant next to the cabins. We will definitely be back and we recommend that everyone checks this place out!!!

This place is a gem. If you are looking for a place that is quiet, private, and all around relaxing, this is it. Not only is the home comfortable with all the things you could ask for (comfortable beds, great hot water pressure, etc) it's decorated beautifully, has so much to do that you won't want to leave, and everything is very well thought out. I use an Air Bnb a lot and I will certainly be saving this one for future visits. Highly recommend.

The house was precious and so thoughtfully decorated and put together. It was perfect for our family of 4. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Can’t wait to check it out in the summer!

My 3 daughters and I had an incredible time! The cabin was actually even more beautiful and charming than the pictures make it out to be! I loved the personal touches throughout and how Cheryl and Randy greet you when you arrive and give you a tour of the property and all the amazing amenities you can take advantage of during your stay - from the chapel, to the workout room, to the library/movie room, and more! The farm fresh breakfast on Cheryl and Randy's beautiful deck overlooking the pool, pond and nature is A MUST! My girls loved all the farm animals and two VERY friendly farm dogs! I can't wait to go back and experience the other cabins and spend more time with Cheryl and Randy hearing their amazing story!

Randy and Cheryl are delightful people and treat you like family as soon as you drive onto their property. The cabin itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The acreage around the property is cut with many walking trails. The hot tub and pool are very pleasant. We enjoyed are stay completely. The property is only 15 miles from Mineola where we went to Wal Mart for groceries. we ate lunch in downtown at a fantastic burger place. Overall, A Great Retreat!! highly recommend!!

A place to stay for any local events weddings, graduations, XV and had the pleasure to talk to the hunters. Check out Brodie B&H Outfitters on FB and BHoutfitterbrodie Insta. The hunters talked about their hunts and had a blast and got some good game out.

This is our second time staying at Cary and Debby's place. We stayed in the little gray cabin this time and it was quite comfy. Their cabins are so very well kept, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Beds are comfortable and we have always gotten good nights sleep. We have family nearby so we don't spend a lot of time on the property, but the property is very nice and they have two sweet dogs that help welcome us in. Cary and Debby are so very responsive. Their lovely home is on the property as well. They provide all the privacy desired but are there if needed. I am certain we will be staying with them again and I highly recommend their place when visiting the area, or just passing through.

Perfect place for a fishing trip!! Nothing special but great AC and comfortable bed!! We will be back!

Roomy, comfortable house out in the country. Beautiful Texas open skies. Comfortable front porch as well as open roomy play area in the back.
