Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Bastrop

Exactly what we were looking for - some peace and quiet away from the city. We really enjoyed being able to interact with the horses and other animals. Breakfast was delicious and Walter and Judy were very sweet, great hosts. I was able to do one ride on a stallion which was a very cool experience (extra cost). Just keep in mind you are staying on a working farm. This is very much a farm house - not perfect or modern, which was fine with us. My only complaint would be that it had some cobwebs and dust that looks like it hasn’t been touched in a long, long time. However the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom was clean. We would definitely come back. Walter and Judy made us feel very welcome and like we were a part of the family. They even invited us out to dinner one night! Bring bug spray!

The place was pretty small but perfect for two people. No problem moving around and the cabin was decorated very nicely, probably one of the best accommodations I've ever booked through AirBnB. They also had a super sweet dog!

Lovely little cabin. Jasmine checked in and made sure we didn't need anything and was a great host. We loved that the goats were friendly and loved to be fed the treats. Peaceful area and not too far from places to eat.

Our stay was so peaceful. It was so hard to leave. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay and it was a great place for a family gathering. Lots to do and it’s in a beautiful setting. Bob was very helpful and responsive. Will return.

This cabin had everything we needed and more. It was quaint but also spacious. The hosts were great; very communicative, responsive, and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

"Oh wow," is all I could say; the place was absolutely AMAZING! Our stay was extremely relaxing and peaceful and the quietness was lovely. It was such a beautiful place to get away, meditate and connect with nature. Everything about the house was perfect, very nice and clean. The beds were so comfortable with plenty of linens. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a great meal, and dining room was perfect for our family of six. We were a small group so the house was extremely spacious. The laundry room was nice to utilize and likewise had everything we needed to wash a couple of loads. The jacuzzi in the master bedroom was awesome!! Wishing we could have stayed longer. Lastly, we're grateful for our wonderful host, Shemuel. Thank you again, for an absolutely wonderful stay.

We stayed here for the opening weekend of Sherwood Forest Faire. I believe this is going to become an annual tradition after how amazing the recent stay was. The cabin itself is awesome. Extremely well built and well decorated. It had everything we could possibly need. You can tell that Steph & Emmett are truly passionate about what they do, and this stay is a breath of fresh air in the sea of bland, corporate Airbnbs that are out there. The location is also terrific. It's extremely peaceful both day & night, and is an EXCELLENT location for watching and listening to the wildlife. Honestly, even though this is going to be our go-to place for Sherwood weekends, we may just book this cabin on random weekends throughout the year just to be able to unwind and relax from our fast-paced corporate jobs. Speaking of unwinding and disconnecting, the location was no wifi, which is perfectly fine for us. But if you MUST have internet access, then you can easily use your phone as a hotspot.

I wanted a weekend getaway for me and my girl. Eduardo’s place did not disappoint! Super peaceful and easy to find even at night. Would definitely recommend this cozy gem in the middle of nowhere to escape the city. Will be back!

We LOVED their Airbnb! This wasn’t just a vacation or an anniversary celebration, this was literally the most relaxing and peaceful few days. My boyfriend and I spent time walking the trails, feeding the animals, and overall living the life. When we ran out of treats, Jason provided another jar for us! He even brought a piglet for me to hold! I was bummed out that I didn’t see Shadow and Bootzy, that was until we came back in the afternoon and there they were! They were both very happy and oh so friendly. Shadow and I ran back to the cabin! Bootzy followed along too. Shadow and I spent time outside enjoying the amazing view. I definitely plan on coming back this summer! I truly recommend staying here :)

The tiny cabin is a testament to the love this family has for the land. The phrase less is more comes to mind. We were so comfortable and really appreciated the workmanship of the structure. Thank you again.

It was peaceful and the bed was vey comfortable!!

This was a great place to stay for the F1 weekend or any COTA event. We were super close to the track so we choose to walk about 1 mile to and from everyday which sure beats expensive ubers and stand still traffic. Understanding it was a tiny home with less space, the owners were accomodating for our travel times it was a lovely stay and provided all the amenities we needed for the weekend. Worth every penny and highly consider! Warning - there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood but they were friendly and will likely say hello if you decide to walk to COTA or the taco stand on the corner.

Great cabin off the beaten path. Definitely a cabin, but perfect for us. TMobile and Verizon cell service. Well worth the price, would stay again!

I have stayed here a few times now. Mike and Diana are very helpful if you have any concerns or needs. It was a peaceful stay with lovely surroundings and friendly farm animals. :)
