Vacation rentals in Lake Amboseli

We really enjoyed our stay! Thomas was a wonderful host, always attentive and friendly. A chef cooked for us a delicious meal and we spent an evening at the bonfire looking at the stars and in the morning enjoying the view of the Kilimanjaro in the morning light. It's not a bad base to explore Amboseli park but keep in mind it's a bit of a drive to the gate. Additionally, the road to the place is extremely bad, so if you don't have a 4x4 you will have problems reaching it (impossible in the rain). Otherwise such a peaceful location. We had an amazing and memorable stay at the camp - being able to enjoy the serene and peaceful location, detaching from our phones, and enjoying activities and nature around us, not much more can be asked for. The tent was lovely, with great amenities, and a nice view of the mountain. Food was splendid and catered well to veg and non-veg. All staff were very hospitable and kind. Be sure the check out the pool, see the vegetable garden, visit the baby animals and explore the areas outside the camp - hike to the falls, cycle on trails, find new discoveries (thanks Naz!). We can’t wait to visit again and see how the camp grows!

Look no further. We had the best time ever staying at Kili Springs. We drove from Nairobi, and the coordinates given for directions led us right to the camp. Upon arrival we were greeted by two of Benjamin's sons, Noah and Emmanuel, they gave us cold tropical juice, and showed us our cabin. The cabins/tents are kept very clean. The beds have crisp white sheets, they even provide little flip flops to wear in the cabin. Sitting on the deck is perfect, surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna, birds singing, monkeys jumping, bush babies calling out, I could go on and on. The food provided was excellent, we are vegetarian and they did such a great job. We also loved coffee and tea time. Dinner was in the central area, with candles on the table. We chose to do two days with Benjamin as our guide, the first day we visited the conservancy, with an AM trip, lunch/nap break, then went back in the evening. It was our favorite day! The next day we did a full day trip to Amboselli. Magical place!!!

A lovely and tranquil escape from Nairobi. We stayed for two nights with our children and visited the waterfall (though there wasn’t much water this time of year) and hiked up the mountain the following day. Although we had to turn back near the summit due to fresh buffalo tracks, we enjoyed an incredible 7-hour hike off the beaten path. The night sky was perfect for stargazing. Jon, the manager, was both helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful, spacious house in very peaceful and quiet set up. The host are lovely and super helpful. Just make sure to arrive during the day as the place is hard to find otherwise.

Definitely coming back to this location. The host was welcoming and accommodating. I had dinner made which was amazing. Balanced flavors. it's a quiet and peaceful location. Google maps gave me the run around but was able to locate finally. Great security and the compound is very well kept.
