The house was stunning and spacious. Our bedrooms were large, the bathrooms modern and pristine, the kitchen looked out onto a lovely backyard. Joana and Victor's recommendations were perfect and our favorite restaurant on our week-long trip was less than ten minutes from the house. I would highly recommend the place to anyone considering a trip to the island. It was a little rainy the week we were there. What a nice touch to enter the hallway and see a large selection of umbrellas.

Great place with ocean views! Very convenient accommodation with everything you need to live. They respond very quickly and find solutions. Bring traffic jams to sleep, as you can hear the roosters and dogs. It was missing a bottle of wine opener and some basic products like coffee filters, coffee, and dishwasher soap. The back doors don't lock. I still recommend the place.

The Love Shack was a great place and we most enjoyed the gorgeous view and amazing location. We lucked out with sunny weather most days and the balcony got all day sun and sunsets. Thanks for a great stay!

The stay was very nice and location was amazing with everything just around the corner. Nice Beach and swimming pools are just 5 min walking distance. The communication with Lucia and her mom was very friendly and helpful. All in all great value for the money. Would love to come back :)

I recommend this apartment. Very spacious, perfectly clean, all the amenities, necessary things. Balcony overlooking the city and the ocean. We spent a week here and it was perfect. There place is new, so clean, completely equipped, and just yards away from the ocean. We loved relaxing on the balcony and hearing the waves after returning from our days activities. Walk just a few blocks and you are at the square with cafes. Joe is a wonderful host - very responsive and kind. He greeted us and showed us around even when we arrived very late, and had recommendations of sites and restaurants and is always happy to help. We have been gone a day and really miss this place. We will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Joe!

For nature and cat lovers, this cottage is perfect. We felt comfortable there right away. The entire house was very lovingly prepared by the host, it was heated and clean and we found everything you need for a short or long stay. Very special was the appearance of cat Milla, who greeted us in front of the house and was always happy to keep us company when we were at home. It was always very quiet in the area, which means there is also no disturbing nightlife. From the small garden you can see the sea and parts of the village of Ajuda. A village shop with very friendly staff for basic services is only a few hundred meters away and within walking distance. For excursions you need the car. We had only booked a week, but we could imagine escaping the winter for a longer period of time; in early February we only experienced spring days!

Lagoa is not part of the hustle and bustle of the city. We came during off season so I’m sure it’s much more lively on season. The home was gorgeous and had amazing views. The people were super friendly. When we wanted to get to Ponta Delgada we walked up a couple of blocks to the taxi stand and it was less than a 10 minute ride. (About 12 euros cost.) The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor space and open sliding doors made it feel even more tranquil in the mornings when enjoying our coffee.

This home is a gem. The house is pefect and one block from the beach. The sunsets are the best on the island. I feel overwhelmed by the kind people of this community!
