Waterfront vacation rentals in Lagoa de Óbidos

a lovely place!! the view is amazig, Nazare and the sea are simply astonishing. the balcony is pure luxury; my Dad and I had a lovely time in Nazare - thx Joao!

We loved our stay in Nazare. The town is incredible and our host was friendly and welcoming. She was very clear with check in and showed us around when we got there so we were clear on everything. We visited in the chilly off season and she’d placed extra blankets out for us and set the heat so we’d be warm at night. The location is perfect and view incredible. She left us pastries and port on arrival and the apartment was very clean. The only thing I didn’t love was that all the lightbulbs were very bright white (I’m super light sensitive so it was a “thing” for me but maybe not for others… this is also something we noticed at a lot of restaurants in the town). I can’t recommend the location enough! It was an easy walk to both south and north beach and the parking was a huge plus for us.

Our trip to Nazare was terrific thanks in part to this five-star beach front apartment. It is walking distance to everything, has great views of the beach and sunset from the living room and bedroom, and the has best shower head in Portugal!!

The stay provided by Alberto was perfect in several respects. When we arrived, the space was quite clean and tidy. Its location was excellent, being close to the viewpoint, swinging and elevator. The communication with Alberto was very good, being the same very understandable and friendly!!

We absolutely loved our stay with Feathers. It had everything you could ask for, super clean bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen. The view alone made our stay well worth it. Great location to restaurants, the market, shops and the bus terminal. We definitely recommend and would stay again.

This apartment is like a lookout tower over the Siver Coast. Far enough from lower Nazaré to be quiet yet close enough to hear the waves at night.

Excellent property right at the beach and in between the marina and local restaurants. Wonderful sea view from balcony and very comfortable apartment. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay with my family two puppies who had a lot of fun in the pool. Lmoços on the terrace on the balcony overlooking the sea, simply magnificent. Mr. Quim always very attentive gave me good recommendations of places to visit and of course some also very good restaurants. Noting that the house has a great location meters from the market and hypermarket. It's a place that would definitely repeat.

It's so good I almost want to write a bad review to keep the place all to myself. The space is amazing in every sense, spacious, well-equipped, with breathtaking views and lots of options for both privacy and group activities. Claudia is an outstanding host, highly helpful and responsive. The views — don't get me started on the views, Peniche (and this particular spot) are forever in my heart and the hearts of my friends who joined me. I wish I could buy a place right next to this one. 100/10, see you guys next year!

What an incredible stay! From the location, which embraces nature and brings incredible calm, to the house itself, equipped with all the utensils needed for a perfect stay. I also have to thank Adriana and her father for the ease of communication and all the attention given! It will definitely be a place to visit again!

To echo all the other reviews, this place is a gem. The views from the living room, patio, and roof are amazing. Obvious love and care went into the restoration of the house, and I enjoyed finding all the cat/fish artwork and fun touches everywhere. Arrival by car and parking was surprisingly easy (there’s no need to squeeze through Peniche’s narrower streets) with ample free public parking less than 2 minutes’ walk away. One thing to bear in mind for winter visitors is that the house is heated by portable space heaters and the downstairs (where the bedrooms and bathroom are) never really heats up. This isn’t a problem really as plenty of blankets are provided and you’ll spend most of your waking time upstairs, which stays toasty warm. Thanks again to Maria for such a lovely stay for me and my dog and also to her friendly neighbor who was so chatty and let me practice my baby Portuguese language skills with him.

We (4 adults, 2 kids) spent two weeks in the house and it was absolutely perfect. The house itself is gorgeous especially with the big garden. We also really enjoyed the veranda where we could spent our evenings even when the kids were already asleep. The walk to the beach is a short hike, but also a little adventure for the kids. And on the way down you can also find some lovely spots to watch the sunset in the evening. David assisted us with some recommendations what to do and what to explore in the area and there is plenty. There would be so much more good things to tell about our stay. It was really a great time.

Flor is cozy and attentive in all communication and a real hostess. We booked just before arrival and she did everything she could to check us in early. Very nice. Thank you for the hospitality.

Beautiful place, the views are incredible from sunrise to sunset. The check in process was easy, and Mariana was always quick with a reply to any questions. A wonderful location with easy access to all that Nazaré has to offer.

The place is in a nice location close to everything we needed. The apartment itself is very clean and well maintained. The nice kitchen is well supplied, better than most as far as utensils are concerned. Little things like the WiFi password I had to call to find out what it was. Also the dishwasher and washer has a switch that alternates between the two, this was not mentioned anywhere and I had to call to get that figured out. However the owners response was quick and helpful so it wasn't that big a deal - should just be documented so you don't kill yourself trying to figure it out before contacting them. Overall, very nice place, reasonably priced. I would go back there if I ever needed a place in that area again.

just as expected, location is great and access directly to the beach. restaurants and food store minutes walking. overall nice place. the only issue was it's on the main road so the front has traffic noise but only in the day as night is quiet with few cars. the building carries noise a bit, we had neighbors that were noisy in the day with kids, so that of course is just a matter of who's staying there. would stay again.

Kristof’s place is delightful, exactly as described and easy to find. His check in instructions were clear and easy to use, which was useful as we were late arriving. We met Kristof the next day and he was helpful and very amenable. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

Pleasant stay in Péniche, the apartment was very clean and quiet, the bedding is very comfortable! Nuno offered us some very good restaurant addresses I recommend it:)

The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had before the trip. They provided numerous restaurant recommendations and they were available to answer any questions during the stay. Their place has a great view of the beach. The kitchen has plenty of space and we had the windows open for the entire time.

We loved it here. The place was Perfect for 2 people. The hosts were the best ever. We received a wonderful welcome package. The surf and beaches were just fantastic. Take warm clothes as the wind can really drop the temperatures. We have been to many places but it’s the only place we can’t wait to rebook. Rickard’s was so helpful and is clearly dedicated to giving all the support to your holiday. So very passionate about the place, we can see why. Such a fantastic vibe. I would say if you love surfing this is paradise if you are a new starter then this is perfect. If you have mobility issues this would probably not be the best place for you due to the amount of walking you need to do. The pictures do not give the location justice. Hire bikes and get exploring it’s breathtaking. Some fantastic restaurants all far cheaper than 🇬🇧. Book and enjoy !!!

Casa do Varatojo is a tranquil and healing location in a small town, offering warmth and hospitality beginning with Sara and her family, and continuing throughout the surrounding communities. I've lived in Portugal for three years in the southern part of the country, and was so impressed at how uncommonly welcoming and accepting of a total stranger the community members have been in this area. Casa do Varatojo itself is a great place to relax and unwind and explore surrounding destinations nearby, including Nazaré. The casinha where I stayed for several weeks was warm, cozy and clean, with a nice shower and little terrace. Sara and her family were helpful and always available if I needed help and information. I had a special request for my reservation, and Sara couldn't have been more accomodating. Finally, Sara offers yoga classes several times a week, and generously offered to let me use her yoga studio many times. It was a great stay! Thank you Sara and your lovely family!
