Very nice place and the day we arraived it was snowing and the view was beutiful. we are definitely coming again on summer

The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

The house was huge. Beautifull and well stocked kitchen. Outdoor was peaceful and enormous yard where we could run and play. My whole family can't wait to go back.

Amazing place - highly recommended! Beautiful grounds, huge inside space, peaceful, and so much fun! Inside: Modern kitchen, brand-new-looking cabin style, comfy furniture (and beds), and even a huge basement with indoor cornhole, a pool table, and lots more! Outside: GORGEOUS. Huge firepit with chairs, a great hot tub, a nice grill, and surrounded by some gorgeous wooded land that is very hike-able. We spent an entire day just sitting around the fire, and it was well worth it! Overall, 100% I'd recommend it, and I'm sure we'll stay there again. One note is that it's about 30-40min from a good-sized grocery store, so I'd recommend grabbing your groceries on the way there, as opposed to having to head back out once you get there. We had an amazing stay at Patty’s place! The house is situated in a nice, quiet area, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Patty was one of the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The house itself was incredible, with awesome amenities that truly made it feel like a home away from home. Patty went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—even arranging for someone to plow after a big snowstorm, which was a thoughtful touch. Everything was set up perfectly to help us relax and not worry about a thing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful house on private, gorgeous property. Everything was as described and the interior was so artfully decorated for the season. Lots of things to do and places to eat/drink within 15 minutes drive. Mark is very proactive and responsive during the stay. I’m always so happy when I’m able to bring my dog with me when I travel!

The is beautiful well kept and right on the river. We were in to visit our son at Bucknell University. The house was so close to campus. We hope to return again soon.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time. Although there was only two of us, there was enough space to bring the whole family. The property was the perfect getaway. We were looking for a retreat that was very private and serene. We got so much more. The property is on a large piece of land and it almost feels like you are alone in the valley. The stars shine bright in the sky, and the sunrise is out of this world. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax and enjoy this scene, day or night. The property also had all the amenities we were looking for. Going into town was also a neat experience. We found a few local shops for little goodies up route 22. We stopped at the local butcher for a few cuts of steak, and also the country store for anything else we needed. Everyone in town was very friendly. Altogether we were so sad to leave. We will definitely be back, hopefully for longer next time.

Loved the snug! Perfect for a weekend getaway! Host was responsive and accommodating to our needs as guests! The place was cute and clean, and super close to Raystown lake. Definitely recommend. We plan on staying again.
