Vacation rentals in Labrador Sea

Hosts Caroline and Richard are special people. They have created, through their own hard work, a special place. They are welcoming, warm, outgoing, helpful, authentic Newfoundlanders. Their home on the cove provided great views of birds and fishermen from the dining room table. We sat down with them and shared our lives and theirs and stories of the local community and ways of life. They offer their guests instant friendship. Richard’s creation, “Newfie Benes,” for breakfast were terrific and fueled us for the day. Caroline went out of her way to see we had all we needed. We are not young, but they helped us to keep the old man and woman out (when you go there, ask them how that is done). . We have traveled from the USA to Newfoundland four times and thought we knew the people here well. Thanks to Caroline and Richard and their big hearts, we know these fine folks better. We hated to leave, but memories of our stay are going with us. Thanks to both of them.

The place was comfortable and communication with the host was great.

I wish we had booked longer! The cottage by the sea, is perfectly rustic. If you are looking for a place to relax with a cup of tea and a gorgeous view this is the place to book. Great trails to walk down by the ocean, a minutes drive from Lantz aux Meadows, star gazing and so much more. If I am back in this area, I would definitely book this cottage again.

We really enjoyed our stay, we were here to visit our Grandson who stayed with us for the night, it was really clean and comfortable, will diffidently stay here again.

My favourite place to stay on the south coast, this is a repeat visit for me. Clean, cozy, and quiet apartment with all the essentials. Close to the grocery store and many trails & tourist attractions. Margaret is a wonderful host and excellent baker. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

This was a stop on our way further north, but in the end we had a really lovely rest after a lot of driving. A fish'n'chip shop right across the road helped with the relaxing vibe. Very comfortable, easy in and out.

This is a refurbished fishing storage shed right on the waters edge. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Catherine has done a fantastic job in making very livable. We highly recommend her place.

This place is an amazing place no matter if you are staying for a day or a week makes it feel like home while you are there would definitely stay again thank you

Such a beautiful peaceful place. More beautiful than the pictures if that’s possible!. We throughly enjoyed our stay with the beach in front, very comfortable beds, the views and beautifully decorated home. The bath overlooking the bay was a special treat. The three of us got to sleep in the master bedroom to experience the sunrise through the amazing window. 🙂 Can’t say enough good things about the experience of our first visit to southern Labrador. Thanks Coco for everything.
