On the ground floor is the living room with a fireplace and the old bread oven illuminated with LED lights. Located in the center of one of the most beautiful villages in the area, with a wide range of activities to do (hiking, cycling, climbing). Keys can also be delivered in Madrid. This would facilitate a more flexible check-in/check-out time.

Laura is a wonderful host. Very nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. The surrounding nature is very beautiful. The access to the house can be a little tricky if you dont go the right way from the start. Goooglemaps send me through a lot of narrow streets in the village but if you go the right way it is ok.

Very happy with the stay. We traveled with three kids,and everything was easy, from the beginning. There is a game room at the entrance that makes it very easy to arrive and unload suitcases,as children can wait there without difficulty. I would mention the cleanliness and the very full breakfast. We will definitely recommend it. Thank you very much for everything, we loved Candelario!

Jurriaan’s place is a great choice! The beds are good, we slept very well. The private bathroom is nice too. You can see the mountains from the windows and from the street. You can also take a 3 km walk through the forest to the Sanctuary of Saint Peter (San Pedro) of Alcantara, patron saint of the town. We went to Arenas de San Pedro in the middle of our trip around Spain and it was a good way to rest and recharge. If you don’t have a car with you, can reach the town by Samar bus from Madrid or by Muñoz Travel bus from Avila (the latter route goes through the mountains, there is one bus a day). Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stay.
