Such a lovely stay. Walking distance to the beach and coffee shops. Brigitte and Keith are wonderful hosts. The house is spacious, clean with a lovely patio and garden. We would definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Great place in walking distance to beach... We only stayed a few nights, while our home in Durban got fumigated, but will recommend the place to friends and family who visit Durban ;-) I especially liked that it was spacious and dog friendly with a big balcony

First of all, big thank you to Sandy for the great hospitality and communication. This place is absolutely beautiful! The pictures aren’t even enough to describe how absolutely amazing the house is. From the ocean view, to how spacious the house is. Just beautiful. Furthermore, the variety of board games available, the cutlery, beach towels. There’s was an even a little water bowl for our lil dog. So considerate! We also got a warm welcome gift from Sandy, which was so unexpected and thoughtful. I will absolutely be booking this house again. Thank you Sandy

Lovely place, easy, and peaceful. So close to the beach and very easy to get to all required shops/restaurants etc. Took my dog for a week, we both loved it. Will definitely be back!

An absolutely stunning apartment with magical views. Hosts are amazing. Access to the beach was easy so we could visit the beach a few times a day. Definitely would stay again.

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay. We did not want to leave! Our host was phenomenal and was so accommodating to all our various needs. We can’t wait to come and stay again. Everything was perfect.

A beautiful and spotlessly clean home with all the comforts to make our stay a magical experience. The undercover patio is weatherproof and was our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the lush natural foliage. The monkey troop that passed through daily were curious and not a nuisance at all - we loved watching them for the few minutes that they visited us every day. The home is furnished with an array of interesting and personal items that were fascinating and intriguing. And so many wonderful books to suit all tastes! We were blown away by the dog bed and water bowl that awaited our two small dogs - such a lovely touch! Easy access to the garden for our house-trained dogs. Absolutely no security concerns at all. The estate is a wonderland of walking trails, dams, indigenous natural bush and wildlife. We will definitely be back - 8 nights was just too short! Greg you are an awesome and responsive host, thank you!

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

Marian is a very friendly and accommodating host. She has a beautiful property and the photos don’t do it enough justice, because it is larger than what it looks like in the photos. She was helpful & was kind enough to allow me to check in early before going out to get some supplies for my stay. The garden area outside the house is very beautiful & peaceful as well. I would definitely recommend choosing this place if you want a relaxing stay.

Shaun was a great Host! Our first day, the municipal power was out, Shaun immediately notified us and left our deep freeze full of ice so that we could keep everything cold that we needed to. The second the power came on he rushed over and set everything up for us. He politely directed us to get to the beach including great restaurant recommendations (that were really amazing). The living space was really amazing, cozy and felt like we were right at home. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed from food storage containers to fabric softener! The best part of it all his place is dog friendly and our little ankle biter loved it! The yard space we had was perfectly secure and had its own walkway gate. We were not kept on a “curfew” which was perfect. The main beach is literally a 10 min stroll from Shaun’s Place. We had horrible and gloomy weather but with the hospitality we received and lovely place we stayed at made it all worth it!

Philip is a superb host and the accommodation was very comfortable and quaint. Fast Wifi, private and quiet surroundings. My fur baby and I enjoyed our stay very much!

2nd stay was even better than the first. Value for money accommodation.

I’ve stayed at Debbie’s Beach Studio a couple of times and I love every visit!!! The huge draw card for me is the proximity to the beach and promenade and that her house is pet friendly. I can’t wait for my next visit!!!
