Very good stay at Jean-Pierre's, the accommodation was very comfortable, because of the weather we were not able to enjoy the small terrace but in summer it must be very pleasant. The riverside is within walking distance for a stroll. Jean-Pierre responded quickly and was proactive. I would highly recommend it!

It was a fantastic cottage for our family, offering everything we needed and a breathtaking view. I highly recommend this place—the host was extremely responsive. When the driveway became slippery, he promptly arranged for someone to clear it.

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

This place is a haven of peace for the period when we were. The scenery is beautiful with its bors de l 'eau. It is a chalet that invites us to the meeting with its large warm kitchen. This is the kind of place that invites you to come back. Thanks for lending it.

We had a fantastic time at this cottage for my birthday weekend with the girls! The location was perfect—peaceful. We especially appreciated that there were rooms in the basement with doors, which made it easy for the mama in our group to get restful nights with her new born. The directions to the cottage were clear, and all the provided information was easy to follow. The amenities were great—we loved using the spa and had a wonderful time snowshoeing in Lac-des-Sables. Stéphane was an excellent host, responding quickly to any questions we had. Overall, an amazing stay—I recommend it! We will be back in the summer to enjoy the river and its activities.

The house is nice and very comfortable, large enough to accommodate a family of 10 without being cramped. The fenestration allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of the river. The exterior is well maintained and the grounds are intimate. Everything is very clean and the equipment of the house is complete. Our favorites in addition to the view of the St. Lawrence: the fireplace and the piano. We'll be back!

Beautiful little chalet nestled in the woods. Everything was super clean and tiny, very nicely furnished and wifi was super fast and strong (something we were worried about without having cell service). We brought our dog and went on a hike through the gorgeous trails that start right once you’re out of the door. The drive from Montreal (~2 hours) was easy even after one of the biggest snow storms of the year. Would definitely stay again!

We went to a few families at the cottage and we really enjoyed it. The views are beautiful and it was very quiet! Even though the weather conditions were not optimal we played board games and the kids had bcp of space to have fun! Thanks & for sure we'll be back:)

We had an absolutely unforgettable family stay at this house. It is beautiful, very functional, and perfectly suited to accommodate eight people comfortably. Everything is very well equipped, nothing is missing, which makes the stay all the more pleasant. But what makes this house really exceptional is its location and surroundings. The view of the St. Lawrence, which passes right in front of the house, is simply breathtaking. Every moment spent admiring this landscape has been pure happiness. A big thank you also to Marie-Ève, the host, who was very responsive and always available to answer our questions. This made our stay even more serene. We recommend this rental and hope to come back one day!

Pleasant stay in a very tidy and very clean apartment. The tranquility of the place and the surroundings are important factors to consider when we are on the go. A place to remember.

Both Alain and his partner Danielle were amazing hosts, they gave us a very nice walk through before checkin. The rooms are huge and very clean. The washroom without a doubt was the highlight, looked brand new. I already recommended this to my friends and family.

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

Remarkable place! You feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Extremely comfortable beds. And what to say about the view. Stunning! I recommend and will not hesitate to spread the word.

Francois was an amazing host! We had to cut our stay a night short due to impending weather, but enjoyed our stay nonetheless. The unit was clean and well cared for. Just a short ride to Quebec City, it was very convenient. Would absolutely stay again!

Very nice location with an exceptional view. We were disappointed and surprised to discover that the 3rd bedroom was not an enclosed room and that it was only partitioned by curtains which was not ideal for privacy and to avoid noises from the rest of the cottage. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay a lot

Exceptional stay in winter in this very cozy and warm chalet. The view of the Saint Laurent is crazy and transforms every day . Access may seem complicated but in the end there is no problem and if the ice threatened to prevent us from passing our host immediately ordered a snowmobile. We recommend for the location! Once we arrived at our Kabin we did not need to use our car, we could easily walk to the riverside. We went there at different times of the day to enjoy the beautiful scenery, observe the descent of ice cream and the variation of light from morning to sunset. Our Kabin Kamouraska was a haven of peace to relax and enjoy the present moment. The cottage is comfortable and well appointed. I recommend it to anyone who wants to slow down the weather and take a big breath of fresh air.

We had a pleasant stay at the accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the stove and the armchairs facing the Saint Laurent. We highly recommend it for visiting the area. It is located 30 minutes from the bay of Saint Catherine from where you can board to watch the whales.
