Very nice and family friendly apartment. Personally furnished, clean and tidy. The opposite of an anonymous AirBnB apartment, as is now rented by many professional operators. Friendly, helpful, and proactive communication throughout the stay. The apartment was really much beautiful than on the pictures, with its rarely high premises.

The apartment was in a good location, clean, and found everything you need. The host was very nice and easily and quickly contacted when needed :)

We had a wonderful Christmas at Wanha School! Included 4 generations and the gym was heavily used. The sauna and a lot were to the liking of adults. There's plenty of space, and the place has its own vibe and nice old school items that were viewed and remembered by the past. The air inside the school was clean, that's the extra points! Thank you also to the woodpecker and friendly Irja! Coming again!! 😊😊😊

We felt very comfortable. Everything was as described and seen in the photos. At double-digit minus degrees and winter wonderland, it was still nice and warm in the house and the wood-heated sauna was wonderful. The well groomed ski trails are just a few meters away on foot and lead through the woods. It is also very challenging. Even for beginners, there are great opportunities for cross-country skiing five minutes away by car. There are several supermarkets in Suonenjoki and a swimming spot for ice bathing. Ice skating is also possible. A trip to Kuopio is definitely worth visiting Pujio Tower. We even saw aurora lights right by the house! In addition, you can also walk nicely in the area in the snow - sometimes snowshoes make sense - and there are several fireplaces in the forest (partly with wood) where you can take a break. Tarja was very helpful and friendly, a great host! We highly recommend.

This was a perfect apartment for our stay! As a family of three the layout was really good for us, our son also had his own space that he loved. Apartment is a very short walk from the central square and has all basics that one needs. The board games were a nice extra 😊

Nice one bed room unit in a ski lodge apartment complex within a few minutes walk of Tahko mountain ski lifts. Has all the necessary features for a comfortable ski weekend. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!
