For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Erica's house is very spacious and clean. The atmosphere is peaceful. Patrick (her son) was very helpful during our stay.

This is our second time staying here, because the first time was so pleasant. It's a very convenient get-away for us (two families) and the place is very pleasant to accommodate 4 adults and 4 kids. There was lots of great stuff to keep the kids entertained and the set up was also good for our 1 year old (crib, change table, and chair). Looking forward to hopefully do it again next year!

Very likeable and welcoming hosts with good tips for child-friendly excursions. The apartment has charm and you feel right at home in this beautifully decorated old Appenzeller farmhouse. The quiet, rural location with short ride to Lake Constance was perfect for us.

Here, people with a lot of love for the former building substance and details were at work: The monument convinces from A to Z. We felt very comfortable and left the mill with slight nostalgia. It was great to end the last days of the old year here and drive home with fresh thoughts. The weather meant it well with us: It was almost always sunny and there was even snow. But even if that would not have been the case: There are various beautiful reading corners in the monument and there are no books or games missing. Eva responded to everything very warmly and promptly and we felt very welcome.

Our stay in this neat cottage was wonderful from A-Z and just full of joy... An enchanting place, certainly even in summer when you can enjoy the garden.

The cottage was a super quiet retreat to write on my diploma thesis. The house was very nice, I felt right at home. The attention to detail is very pronounced. The bed was very comfortable! I didn't miss anything. Thank you Martina for the warm welcome.

The most increíble “little Chalet” in the Appenzell región. Peaceful and beautiful place to spend your days with the best hills to enjoy your hiking. The owner was great and ready to you a hand anytime. Recommended 100% and planning to come back in the spring for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful, well-kept and well-equipped apartment with large furnished terrace and great views. We enjoyed our stay in Rebstein very much and were also culinary on our account. Rebstein is well developed in terms of public transport. Since the apartment is a little higher in the slope, it is more suitable for guests with car, but not exclusively!

We chose this location due to it being down the road from family that live in Switzerland, and we really enjoyed using the property as a comfortable base during Christmas week 2024. The property is very quiet, clean and warm. It has easy access to road and rail networks, but you can also walk from the door into peaceful open countryside or down into the old town of Mellingen. Sue and Fritz were very helpful and friendly, and we even had a light snowfall on our first night – many thanks to Fritz for clearing the path of snow for the next morning!

Very well located accommodation in the area, surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet. Typical chalet of the area. Vintage interior, very well equipped. Ceiling height indeed low for tall people but Ok for the others.

We had a great time at the cottage on the Sitter. It is really very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location is idyllic. The communication with Claudia was always straightforward and friendly.

Our stay was just lovely. Antonia is extremely friendly and her cozy house is quietly located. Our dogs felt at home:) We'd love to come back

Very great place, super nice hosts, great breakfast. Sandra and Roman even asked for intolerances and extra food. We felt completely comfortable and slept well. Great also the pool for the morning jump into the water.

The apartment was quite comfortable and had everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay, the only thing that could be improved is the wifi since I could not work well during these days since the internet was bad, the rest was perfect, good location, Apart Clean and Silvia was very friendly

The house is well located, especially if you intend to visit the city of Constance. We were able to enjoy visiting the Rhine Falls which is less than 30 minutes by car. The highlight is that Conny Land Park is just 5 minutes from the house.

As expected, it was a clean and functional space. I slept wonderfully and felt comfortable.

excellent host. good for seniors due to available elevator. 500m away from the lake. there's a boat restaurant at the jetty. 15mins drive to Aldi, Migros. 100m away from the Ermatingen Train station. if you don't have a transportation, you can use the trains to Zurich. it's easy access to Germany.

The house corresponded exactly to the pictures. There was everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The location is perfect for excursions, hikes with the dog. We felt very comfortable. Uli and Christiane were great hosts. We will come back and take the road bikes with us next time - perfect bike paths
