The place is very nice, I really enjoyed the guesthouse, Mrs. Yokohama Tomomi was very friendly. The only downside was for travel, few restaurants nearby and the city was quite far away. The sea was still beautiful and it's a perfect place for surfers!

Because it was too late to let the host, etc., but it was still very patient to guide me to the accommodation, and especially came out waiting for me to help with my luggage, thank the host for being so accommodating. The first time a dog is ordering a room, the daylight city room is fantastic!There is a kitchen, refrigerator, bowls and chopsticks, and the host is also very enthusiastic about the indoor usable environment and equipment!Right because it was cold and there was a heater to use!!!!!!!!!! The toilet is especially straight through the septic tank like a mao potty, it's a special experience but the smell doesn't drift up to the room, it's a great experience!But fear of having a clean habit, or don't specially experience it, haha! Thanks to host and warm place to stay

If you want to experience what it’s like staying in a beautiful modern Japanese home with a lovely hospitable family keen to accommodate you anytime, then look no further! This friendly family greet you as you enter and are so sweet as they help show you the ropes around the place. This place is perfect for a short stay despite sharing the bathroom and toilet with other guests. The place is fully equipped and very cosy and homey! There’s a convenience store quite close by but recommend driving to other sites around the town. We thoroughly enjoyed our sweet short stay at the Fukumimi’s residence!

Our stay at Roto’s house was memorable and magical. The room itself & surroundings were pure, simple, and sufficient, a peaceful retreat amidst nature. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Roto, Yuka, and their children are incredibly warm and lovable people who made us feel completely at home. Roto took us on a short trip to explore the area, showing us a hidden shrine and even introducing us to some of his friends. In the evening, we shared dinner together, prepared by Yuka, absolutely delicious—healthy, fresh, and full of flavour. The evening was accompanied by Roto’s self-made wine & beer, uniquely flavoured and unforgettable. We laughed, talked about life, DIY projects, and dreams, and forged a genuine connection. This stay was more than just accommodation—it was a truly memorable experience of connection, hospitality, and authenticity. Thank you, Roto and family, for sharing your home, your time, and your wonderful spirits with us. We hope to meet again!

I relaxed in a beautiful space in the forest. I stayed on a rainy day, but the foggy cabin was mysterious, and the sound of rain and birds felt special. Next time I want to stay for consecutive nights♪

It was very helpful that they came to the airport and picked me up.From the time of pick-up, they welcomed us warmly at the inn, and we enjoyed the communication from the people who stayed with us from heart.The room was renovated from a samurai residence, and the painting of the fusuma painted by his daughter was lovely.It was a warm and comfortable space.I also enjoyed having the firewood in the fireplace.The fire in the fireplace was warm, the futons were clean, and I slept slowly.The rice was Isami, and the rice was sparkling clean and delicious!They also took care of it.I love frikake and soy sauce spoons made with daikon leaves.I was kind and happy that it was natural and the effortless cooking.I also enjoyed wild grass tea!The water was also delicious!The inn was kinder and polite, and I genuinely enjoyed the communication with confidence!It was also what inspired me to look at myself again.Nearby hot springs can also be healed.It is an inn that I want to go to again.Excellent hospitality!

My hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend booking the meals for an extra fee. They are delicious, home made and with a variety of local dishes. I enjoyed the discussions with my hosts. The house is at a convenient location to visit Miyazaki, Aoshima and further south.
