Vacation rentals with breakfast in Kooragang

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s home. The house itself was spotless, super clean. The home had a great view of Avoca Beach and was in a private location. It was a perfect size for a couple and the bathroom was great. Lisa was a great and thoughtful host and thought of all the little extras to make our stay enjoyable. Bread (2 types which I didn’t expect - based on what I liked and what my husband preferred), eggs, a number of options for breakfast toppings, cereal and milk. And coffee of course based on what we preferred. Fruit bowl was also provided and some sweets to welcome us into Lisa’s home. Lisa was very responsive to any questions I had and recommendations for where to eat in the area. The Cowrie is an upmarket fine dining restaurant about 5 mins walk from the home. Plenty of other delicious options for eating out in Terrigal and Avoca Beach. I was also lucky enough to have a couple of lovely massages in house. I would highly recommend Lisa’s home for a getaway.

Ainslie and Dan's place is outstanding in every way. It is very comfortable, beautifully furnished and well-equiped for self-catering. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious. The upstairs living room has a balcony with a view of Lake Macquarie where you can watch lovely sunrises. The availability of a double garage was super helpful as we have elderly parents and this meant that they were able to enter the house on the flat. The area is quiet and the lake is a short walk down a short but steep hill which presents no problem for those who are fit. Toronto is just a few minutes drive or about a 10 minute walk where there are lovely coffee shops. I highly recommend Ainslie and Dan's place. We had a wonderful stay.

A perfect place to stop, relax and unwind. The house is well designed to take in the breathtaking views from every room. Loved the day bed and spent hours on the back deck soaking up the valley view and the visits from the friendly local wildlife. The hot tub was a perfect place to kick back with a glass of wine....or two. Jenny was a great host, adding many personal touches to make this an even more wonderful and memorable stay. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Five star property, would highly recommend. Best air b & b we have stayed in. Even better than the photos as everything is top quality. Lots of extra touches were greatly appreciated. We had a great family vacation at Susan's place. Susan's house was very cosy with all the amenities required. Highly recommended. Susan was very accommodating to all our needs.

Anne Marie's place is a true gem, the very best we have visited. The location is private and yet within walking distance to restaurants and wineries. Amenities in the fridge were an extra plus, the accommodations and decor are amazing. Will definitely rebook when we are in Hunters Valley.

We had a lovely girls' weekend at this house. It was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the breakfast supplies that were left for us. The location was convenient for our needs, and the view from the verandah was lovely, especially at sunset. We even saw some kangaroos in the mornings, which was a surprise. The house was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our host was easy to communicate with and was kind enough to offer us an early check-in and a later check-out. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Hunters Hideaway! It was the perfect setup for our group of 6 (3 couples). The house had plenty of space, was super clean, and felt really welcoming. Having two bathrooms made things easier when we were all getting ready—no waiting around. We also really enjoyed the bbq and outdoor deck for the evenings, and the beds were really comfy The location was quiet and relaxing, but still really convenient—close to shops and only a short drive to some amazing wineries and restaurants. Can recommend Saddlers Creek for great wine and live music. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond, with some awesome local tips that came in handy. We’d definitely recommend this place for a group weekend away.

Alan was very friendly and welcoming. His accommodation, which was on the upper level of his home (and private), was spacious and had a great balcony with sun lounges and an outdoor setting for an early morning cup of tea and to watch the sunrise or for evenings with a glass of wine. Fabulous views through the trees to the water. Parrots were feeding in the trees nearby with the sound of other bird life. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen area was equipped with a toaster, kettle, microwave , small fridge and frying pan. Overall, a lovely stay at Alan’s.

Great spot, would recommend and would stay again. Conveniently located for exploring the local area (I had my car so cannot comment on public transport, but was very convenient to have use of driveway). Safe, quiet, spacious enough for a single person/couple and all the amenities you could possibly need are included. Lovely extra touches with the milk, chocolate, cereal and cold water in fridge etc.

We loved our stay and would come back. The accommodation is just like the photos, it's clean, beds are comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay in the well equipped kitchen. The floor to celing windows allow you to really enjoy the stunning view. There were lots of thoughtful touches like cereal for breakfast, pantry essentials, moisturiser and hair products in the bathroom, and plenty of washing products in the kitchen. Lots of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the views. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms but the ceiling fans made it cool and pleasant to sleep.

Great host, made it easy to get into the apartment. Awesome location, would stay again.

Mel and Adam went above and beyond as hosts. I would consider their place again and definitely recommend it to those looking to visit Newcastle.

This was our first Air BnB stay as a new family of 3, we had our 3 month old baby with us and Haley made the accomodation so comfortable for us , had a high chair and toys all ready ! The accomodation is exactly as listed , and the little touches that are there when you arrive make your stay a home away from home. Nothing was any trouble , and for over a weeks stay we could not of asked for any better. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again !! 🤩

Above expectations. I would 100% recommend staying and Karen&Seans’s. Everything was very clean. And they put out very nice snacks and breakfast treats 😊

This little house is very cute, comfy and cosy. Maree went to so much trouble to make sure you had everything you needed. The chocolates and sweets were perfect Marees house is very cute. She has added so much personality to it to make it feel like home. The kitchen is well stocked with teas and coffees, biscuits and treats. We really loved our little stay. The pull out sofa bed was comfy too. Definitely recommend for a couple or two single people.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was brilliant. Brad is a great fella and made checking in and out an easy process. Recommend!

Our stay at Beverleys home was beautiful, we were walking distance to shops & public transport, but yet we were in a peaceful location. Beverleys home was very relaxing, we had everything we needed & more. Beverley was always easy to contact, providing local recommendations & always very happy to help. Be prepared to have your taste buds indulged, we also were spoilt with freshly baked croissants each morning. Thank you for sending us home very relaxed & an eagerness to redecorate our home.

We really enjoyed our time there. Outstanding home made breakfast and cordiality from both of you. The room, garden and house are beautiful. We would definitely book again if we come back to Nelson Bay.

Ian's place was perfect for my trip to Newcastle. Great location, an easy walk to Bar beach and close to the city. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor space. Ian was a great host, letting me drop my suitcase off early and check out a bit later. Would definitely stay again.

The photos do not honour the room. It is even better in real! Very clean. Bedding really comfortable. 10 mn walking to the city center. 5 to the beach. Car Park available. Anne is really kind. Don’t look further and book the room!

We had the most amazing stay at serenity by the lake. From the second we arrived we felt so relaxed. Leah was a great host & went above and beyond to provide everything we would need for a relaxing stress free time. From the generous breakfast provisions, pantry full of food, extra toiletries incase we forgot anything and the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and fishing rods. Nothing beats sitting on the jetty with a drink watching the most amazing sunsets this place has to offer. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away for a couple of nights.
