Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Knox County

We probably have lost count of how many times we have stayed here with Bryan and Ruth. Every time is special. They are engaging and friendly and have lots of ideas for places to go, things to do, and direct you to the best places to eat. The location is perfect if you want to go to Mohican, Amish Country, Loudonville, Malabar Farm, Shawshank, Mid-Ohio, Canoe Liveries, Hiking trails, Hemlock Falls, and so on. The best part is how Bryan and Ruth are so hospitable and accommodating. From a roaring fire and a homemade morning breakfast is simply the capper to a great stay of comfortable overnight accommodations. We’d give 10 stars if we could!

Fantastic all around hosts and house. My wife and I attended a local music festival and the hosts were more the accommodating for us to arrive in the evening and sat down with us plus the other house guests each morning for breakfast (food was fantastic) and engaged in conversion with everyone.

The host was super nice, very helpful with everything we needed. Room was amazing, bed was so cozy wish I could have brought it home with me lol Wish I would have booked two days instead of one, I will definitely come back again!

We felt so welcomed during our stay with Ruth and Bryan. They provided wonderful restaurant recommendations and things to do in the area upon arrival. Delicious breakfast was made every morning. Ruth and Bryan got to know their guests and help build comaraday between us and the other guests staying. Ruth is very responsive via text and accommodating to guest needs. Overall, a very pleasant experience and highly recommend staying here.

It was a beautiful stay with the classic bed and breakfast stay. Waking to have breakfast special for us was amazing. Debra asked ahead of time if I had any dietary restrictions and as I am vegan, that can be a challenge for most. Debra put together a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, oatmeal with homemade maple syrup and toast with a variety of jams and jelly. I almost felt as though Bob Newhart was going to walk through the doorway. Beautiful and classy.

Bryan and Ruth were lovely hosts! They met us shortly after parking, recommended places to go nearby, and had homemade breakfast ready each morning. The main spaces are shared with other guests, but everything is kept clean daily. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces were cleaned daily. If you forgot something or needed something, Bryan and Ruth supplied it if possible. I would 100% recommend staying here! Bryan and Ruth were lovely hosts, and the area was beautiful and peaceful.

WE LOVED our stay with Curt. He was super responsive and the air bnb was quaint and beautiful. I would 100% recommend this place. Excited to come back in the future. Great breakfast. Great environment. Great relaxing! Very awesome that it is bet friendly too. ❤️

My husband and I were looking for a place that allowed dogs close to family in Ashland and we found the perfect spot in Sandy and Marks beautiful home. My only regret was not being able to stay for the homemade breakfast Sandy had made. We needed to leave early that morning for some business that needed attending to. We look forward to coming back and having some breakfast with the both of you. Mia loved every minute of her stay and thanks you as well for welcoming her into your home. We had a nice time exploring Roscoe Village from the Carriage House at Applebutter Inn. We chose this spot based off of location, price and amenities. We loved the homemade breakfast that was prepared for us and it was delicious. It consisted of French toast (with cinnamon and powdered sugar) sausage, and a wonderful bowl of fruit. The peach in it was from his tree he said was overflowing! We loved the little coy pond in front of the carriage house and beautiful late summer flowers! Inside we liked that there was a third small bed that if we ever needed/wanted to bring our kid we could come back. We enjoyed the antique fixtures and knick knacks that went along with the decor. I liked that there was coffee and a pot available even though we brought our own brand to use of coffee and then had some more up at breakfast. I enjoyed the bed and couch used for tv watching. We did not get around to using the hot tub but did enjoy the pressure of the shower. Everything was as described.

Hillside Villa was an amazing stay! Was very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Berlin but also very quiet and peaceful. Was also very easy to find. We had the Hillside View Suite and it was an amazing view. Everything was very clean and above expectations. The owners are very responsive with communication. We will definitely be returning for future trips!

I highly recommend this stay! This property is extremely beautiful. It was so peaceful and private that I could not believe we were just outside the city. It was just a short drive to Delaware, Lewis Center, Dublin, and Columbus.The friendly hosts gave us great local recommendations. The house has many sitting areas to kick back and relax. We especially enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast. I hope to visit again!

Such a beautiful, peaceful setting! I felt at home when I walked in. Gordon was very welcoming, as was the rest of his family. This is a place I definitely plan to return to! The fields and dirt roads are so walkable if you are looking to stretch your legs, and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the second time we stayed here and it was as great as before! Will stay again!
