We stayed here over New Year and it was the perfect place for a chilled celebration. The location is great, close to Harrogate, Ripon and Skipton for day trips and there are plenty of walks on the doorstep. The house was so tidy when we arrived and the hosts made us feel welcome with a cake and champagne on arrival.

Beautiful historic cottage in a Stunning location. Decoration of the cottage was absolutely gorgeous and made the house feel relaxed and homely. The bed was comfy and there was everything you needed plus little extra touches such as blankets in the living room. The bay hotel has the most amazing views out of the windows. The Victoria Hotel had good food in the bar area and both were dog friendly. Good location for costal walks along the Cleveland way.

James and Rachel were great throughout from booking to helping with any queries we had for recommendations. An amazing location and superb facilities. We will definitely be back

Lovely place to stay. We booked very last minute after new year and arrived within three hours of booking. Lisa had the place all ready and even some juice and milk in the fridge. She was great at communicating when needed during our stay but left us to enjoy it which we appreciated. The place is spacious and homey and the hot tub is perfect. The area is great with lots of walks and pubs and plenty to do.

This is a lovely place to stay just far enough out of the main bit of knaresborough but only a 5 min walk in. Beautifully presented accommodation with so many nice touches and a few extras in the fridge and for breakfast. Clive and Julie were nice and friendly and helpful. I’d 100% recommend a stop here - you’ll love it. Keep an eye open for deer, kingfishers and otters in the river , none spotted for us but hopefully more luck when we return….

Stayed at Emma’s place for Christmas and was a beautiful stay . Everything was perfect did not want to come home . Location was perfect . Cannot wait to come back Thank you

A truly lovely place to stay, right in the heart of the beautiful countryside, away from the hustle and bustle. The lodge is finished to a high standard, with luxurious fixtures and fittings and high beamed ceilings. It had everything we needed. The only extra thing that would have been useful was towels for the hot tub, though luckily we remembered to bring our own. We walked into Pately Bridge (in the ice and snow) but then struggled to get a taxi back - so book this in advance if you can. Also, be aware that the nearest pub in summer bridge is currently closed.

We absolutely loved our stay! Jay was very helpful answering in answering our questions before our stay and was there to greet us when we arrived. It was the perfect size for the two of us and we enjoyed the hot tub with an amazing view. Jay’s local recommendations helped to make our trip great, and we enjoyed being so close to the Rail Trail. Great spot for a fantastic walking and steam train holiday. A really thoughtfully managed place - thank you!
