Waterfront vacation rentals in Kingston

Loved staying at Normans property, not only was he an excellent host but the property is in a prime location for coffee shops and restaurants. We have a family of five so finding accommodation for everyone is not easy. We found that at Norm’s place, it was great for all of us. Next time I’m back in Canberra ( be it for work or a family function) & if Norm will have me I’ll be staying there. Thanks Norm.

David is a great host. The place is very nice, with a lovely view—a very clean and well-equipped apartment. We had a great time and look forward to staying there whenever we revisit Canberra.

Murad is a very responsive host. Despite being overseas during our stay he was always available to be contacted. This place is close to everything you could need and a wonderful spot for travelling with kids. The listing is exactly what you find when you arrive. There is construction across the road, but never any noise, so not an issue. If visiting we would definitely stay again!

Lovely clean unit with great views of lake Burley Griffin. Location location location plenty of different restaurant choices at your door step. Great walks or rides along the lake within metres of your door step. Would definitely recommend.

Kevin and Ivy’s unit is in a great location. We managed without a car, by walking and using the occasional ride share. The view is amazing! There is traffic noise but it is a hum in the background and did not disturb us - we slept so peacefully on the beautiful bed. We had all facilities needed for a 5 night stay and everything is in pristine condition. A standout for me has been communication with the hosts - I’ve never before had such quick responses!

Nice and tidy space for a couple or 2 friends. In a quiet area not too far from most attractions. Clean and well presented.

Dush’s place was the perfect spot for us to stay while visiting family in a neighbouring suburb. The home was as described, clean and well stocked with everything you might need. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dush and she is lovely.

Capital cottage suited the 2 of us perfectly for our 3 week stay in January (mid-summer). We were looking for a quiet location away from the NSW coast that can be hectic during the summer holidays. The cottage is probably about 50 years old and has been progressively renovated with a roomy modern kitchen and a large sun room out the back. It has beautiful original floor boards. It is a very comfortable place to relax, read, and listen to the magpies and cockatoos in the back garden. It has plenty of power points to plug in your lap top or phone in whatever room you are hanging out in. Plenty of room for two cars, one undercover in the carport. Seven minute level walk to a village shopping centre with a little supermarket, chemist, bakery, and restaurants. We used the local bus to get to central Canberra, Parliament House, and the Galleries. Capital cottage is a quirky place with lots of character. We will certainly be back. Seb responded to all our queries very quickly.

BEAUTIFUL apartment, perfect size for 2, very modern and minimalistic. my partner and I loved the view. The balcony is quite loud due to a main road underneath and general wind, but we sat inside on the comfy couch and admired the view. It was incredible to see a storm rolling in as you can see so far across the lake, all the way to the mountains. Everything is walkable, and my partner and I jumped on the electric scooters quite a few times to get to the shops and local places. I am not local to Canberra and noticed that you have to pay for parking in most places, so the electric scooters and walking were a great alternative. It is also awesome that Emily provided complimentary parking which was easy to find with clear instructions. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again if we decide to come back. Thank you!

Clean, tidy and close to cafes.

Ashley was responsive and helpful, and I he place was convenient and well-appointed. Exactly what I was looking for, and exactly as described. Very easy to recommend.

This apartment is in a fantastic location, looking out over the lake and close to the amenities of the Foreshore. It is well-appointed and very comfortable and has beautiful fixtures and fittings and lots of lovely thoughtful extras. Lisa was very helpful and responded quickly to all our queries. We would love to visit again!

Christine's place in kingston is quiet and beautiful. It one of the better AirBNBs I've stayed in for work over this year. I think the pictures dont do the place justice. Its a lot nicer than the photos :) Check in/Check out is super easy. Theres a beautiful nature reserve/walk directly outside. Then 50m across the lake are lots of shops etc
