We loved our stay. It was very comfortable and the location is really hard to beat. We don’t drive so having access to the bus was very helpful and there are plentiful taxis to get around. It would be tough to beat the cost and location. The host was also very friendly but still gave us our privacy.

Our stay was the highlight of my parents trip to Okinawa. We were able to celebrate our son’s birthday with both sides of the family for the first time, and we couldn’t have selected a better place to celebrate. The views and the hospitality were equally impressive. Highly recommend enjoying a stay here.

Hide’s place is magical, a very simple place with tons of character. Could be perceived as a less modern space, but it really has everything you need. The space is divided into two separate buildings which worked out very well for us with kids at night. Yard is great and tidy and beach access is right in front with a beach essentially to yourself. We were able to eat papaya from the tree that grows in the backyard, Hide left some nice coffee beans for us and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need. Great community feel with the small store right next door where you can get bento boxes from almost every day for lunch. Most importantly, the true value comes from Hide’s commitment to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. He was kind enough to take us surfing and was very knowledgeable with the best recommendations to best enjoy the area. Overall, great space, will definitely come back.

I was able to prepare for my trip comfortably due to the friendly host's response.The feel of the place was cozier than the photos. It was actually quiet and the bedding on the second floor was very comfortable, so I slept well.I arrived in the evening and didn't see the view, but I was surprised when I woke up in the morning. It was cool! The location of the accommodation is central, so I was able to move smoothly. If you have any regrets, you only provided a towel for one day because we didn't ask in advance, but we stayed for two days. Overall, our group said it was a happy accommodation. Nice house. I would visit again.

Beautiful Resort! Love the space, pool, indoor and outdoor. Everything was just as described and looks exactly like the photos but better. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this place. Location is perfect and very convenient to get around with a car. Close to a lot of cafe, restaurants and supermarket.

When I went in, there was a strong smell of mold. The cleaning was good, and there was hair on the bedding. The pool water was clean and the temperature was a little cold for swimming at night.

Special house with a very unique design. Very spacious. Pool and sauna great additions. Very nice large green garden. Location wise close to Maeda and Onna, great places for beaches and snorkel. You will need a car to get around. We stayed with a group of friends and enjoyed it very much, extended the original stay. House is great for families or friends. Host responds quickly to any questions.

The villa offered a stunning view and was wonderfully peaceful. However, it is quite far from restaurants and shops, and the 30-40 kph speed limit meant that most destinations were at least 20-30 minutes away. That said, we were aware of its secluded location when we booked. The villa was exceptionally well-equipped, clearly reflecting the host's thoughtfulness in providing everything we might need during our stay. One small note of caution: the key fob attached to the keys included an AirTag, which triggered an alert on our iPhone warning us of a nearby tracking device. This might catch some guests off guard but is likely just a security measure. The sauna, while beautiful, only heats up to 63°C, which is below the standard minimum of 80°C for a Finnish sauna. I knew this before booking, so it wasn’t an issue, but worth noting for sauna enthusiasts. Overall, I was very happy with the villa and would recommend it, especially for those seeking a tranquil retreat in a secluded settiing.

This home is amazing. Beautiful location with a perfect beach less than 100 steps away; clean, well-prepared, and very easy to feel right at home in. Our host, Tsuyoshi, was very responsive and helpful when I had a couple questions, although it was barely needed because he took extra care to ensure everything was prepared for our stay. I couldn’t think of a complaint about this place even if I tried. I highly recommend staying here. One consideration is that the jacuzzi has a faucet that you use to fill it up, but the hot water heater shuts off after an hour of continuous use (it takes about an hour and a half to fill the jacuzzi) so ensure you pay attention to the faucet to ensure warm water is coming out and if it turns cold, just simply follow the provided instructions on how to turn the hot water back on (it’s as simple as pressing a button). You will not be disappointed if you book this home.

I have always had Nanjo on my travel list and I’m so glad I stayed here. I escaped from the city and work to find some peace in the Okinawan countryside where I could slow down time with my dog. I hope to visit again someday.

Beautiful exterior with a beautiful interior

All furniture and facilities are well maintained. There was also a parking lot in front of the house, so it was convenient. YouTube and Netflix are also available via TV. There are also many brunch cafes nearby, so I used them leisurely in the morning.

Love Uchihara ‘s house design. It’s modern and practical . Especially the open kitchen is nicely well equipped. I personally enjoy the sun set moment sitting in the living room when it’s not raining. The only thing making it not perfect : there’s only one toilet in the house for the family of four adults. Wish the bed in the master room is in King size . In general, everything is neat and clean. we will stay here again if we have vacation in Okinawa for the summer . Appreciate Uchihara team ´s great efforts for providing us such a cozy , unique resort place.

Stayed three nights in January. A great house in a special location- tranquil. Design of the house is lovely and well thought out. Please note that the building looks large on the outside it is not big on the inside. Space was fine for my family of 5. Ramp to front door. The living area comfortable - looks out to balcony and sea- this connects to roof balcony. The kitchen is small but practical (no dishwasher but well equipped otherwise- also mineral water salt/ pepper olive oil- no soya sauce). Spa/ Bath brilliant. 2 x WC. Location fantastic. Hard to find using Googlemap directions however good from owner good and checked Google Maps Street view prior- knew what to look for. Close to the sea and short walk to beaches (lucky with weather-warm enough to swim/ paddle). No issue with insects in January. Restaurant in walking distance (best to book). Had breakfasts at Kouri Kafuu- 3 min drive away- lovely. Nearest convenience 15 min drive and supermarket 20 min. Hope to stay again.

Tidy and clean! If u don’t mind the noise of plane at the morning, there is a good place!

It was a really nice place. Was pretty big and have a lot of stuff for the kitchen. Even though me and my friends had a little bit of trouble with the check in, everything went smoothly. Thank you to the hosts and their hospitality.

The place is absolutely gorgeous! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay, this is the place for you.

If you're traveling with a family of 5 or more, it's much better than getting 3 hotel rooms! However, the location is located on an island away from the center of Okinawa, so it was a bit of a pity that it took some time to get out and enter. However, there is a private beach in front of the accommodation, and there is also a place where you can barbecue right next to it, so I think it would be awesome if you come in the summer and play like a staycation at the accommodation.
