Vacation rentals in Kimswerd

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

Peter and Jeannette's cottage is simply a little gem – lovingly decorated, super well maintained and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. You can tell right away how much passion they put in here. Peter and Jeannette are very special hosts – so warm, attentive and helpful. We felt welcome from the first moment. When we needed help freezing Mailo's food, it wasn't an issue for them at all – just great! The beaches of Petten and Callantsoog are only about 10 minutes by car and perfect for long walks – especially with dog. The lighthouse with the cozy restaurant in Huisduinen (about 30 minutes away) was also a real highlight. We had a wonderful time all around and are just grateful to have been able to spend our vacation with such lovely people. From the heart 5 stars – we will definitely be back!🤗.

Wow, what a beautiful spot on earth. A fantastic place to relax! We had a wonderful time in Luka's hut! The location right on the water is simply unbeatable – surrounded by ducks and geese as neighbors, with absolute privacy and beautiful surroundings for long walks. Here you can really relax. The house is perfectly equipped – nothing is missing, if not even more. Every detail has been thought of! We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to take a nice bath or simply observe nature. On cold days, the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere. A highlight was the breathtaking view of the sunrise right from bed – a magical start to the day! And as a little extra there was even a JBL jukebox. We will definitely be back! Absolutely recommended for those seeking relaxation in nature.

We had a lovely weekend. It is a nice cottage, but especially the area is beautiful. We made a nice canoe trip and enjoyed the beautiful Giethoorn despite the bad weather. The reception and further contact were very friendly. Great! Small downsides: you have to lug a bit with your luggage (but that's why you come to a very nice, secluded spot) and we occasionally woke up to the rising central heating boiler in the room next to the bedroom.

5 points in every aspect. The place is a dream, the surroundings are like a painting. Andreas is an excellent host, super nice and accommodating. A wonderful week!

Great Host!

Excellent little house in a charming position in the old town with views of a canal and marina. A lovely vibe, we instantly felt at home in the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen. Great shower. Peaceful at night. Extremely comfortable bed. Free parking a 10 min walk away but you can drop all your stuff off outside. A 5 minute walk to the ancient harbour and central square. Hoorn is a beautiful town with plenty of bars ( e.g. Klinkers) , restaurants and shops.

Very nice stay in good weather. The pellet stove was a lifesaver for cool nights. The wind woke us up a little because we're not used to camping. Peter is a warm host who takes the time to meet each of his guests and even makes the effort to speak French. They don't hesitate to help when needed. The estate is friendly and well equipped for all kinds of leisure activities, especially for children. I really enjoyed staying in this accommodation in contact with nature and discovering the beautiful surrounding landscapes.

We had the pleasure of spending a few days there with the family. A jewelry box is an island of tranquility. It was a big edge. We'll be back.
